this chapter is going to be a bit weird as I don't know how to write fight scenes (btw 'this is y/n's thoughts)

also... I haven't read the manga in a hot minute, so expect cannon divergence...

"Brat. don't look up without permission, its unpleasant"

"then come down and I'll look down at you"

'what are they doing, you know what imma just sit back and relax'

no ones POV:

"you sure are seething with anger"(sukuna)

"Damn right i am. I've been killed by you, you know"(Itadori)

'Yuji was killed, by Sukuna? what is their relationship, i thought they hated each other but it seems to be more than that.'

"well, looks like you forgot how i healed your arm for you--"(Sukuna)

"YOU TOOK MY HEART AFTER THAT YOU KNOW. this is perfect, i can't stand being with the likes of you even when im dead but...*picks up skull* I'LL MAKE YOU CRY*throws skull*"

'wait yuji is dead' The h/c haired girl turned to sukuna with confusion, but he was too immersed in Itadori to care.

the two continued to fight until y/n, interrupted, "HEY, SOMEONE EXPLAIN WHAT GOING ON." she screamed in anger. the boys looked at her in confusion as they had never seen her angry before. "now", she added in a low scary voice.

itadori explained everything that happened in detail causing Y/n to glare at sukuna, "Sukuna, " she said in a sweet voice, a angry smile gracing her lips," Bring yuji back."

"-but, thats not fa-"

"I wasnt asking sukuna,"

the color drained out of the older male's face, before he nodded. turning to Yuji the whispered some things to him, to which the younger responded with a nod.

yuji disappeared a few seconds later, so did y/n both returning to their lives.

Y/n's pov:

I woke up with a feeling very angry, why, i have no idea. Maybe yukino was right about soulmates. i let out a sigh, looking back to my homework, deciding it was a good time to finish it up.

after finishing up my homework i began cooking myself my dinner, of (your favorite meal). a plus of living alone is that i can eat whatever and no one can say anything about it.

I continued eating and decided to watch some (favorite show) to pass the time.

itadori's pov:

i found myself suddenly waking up in what seemed to be a morgue.

"Ahhh you're awake! Glad to see that my favorite student is alive!"

I look down, noticing my naked form, before looking back to gojo sensei.

"What happened?" I asked, before some of the memories returned to me, but with some haze.

"You died" Sensei answered, quite matter-o-factly. "Did sukuna make some sort of deal with you?"

"I- I think so" I momentarily pause, before returning my attention back to Gojo sensei. "but there was someone, or something else there too... I think."

When I said this everyone in the morgue seemed to freeze.

"what exactly do you mean by that Itadori?" Gojo sensei asked, his smile fading. the lady in the room remaining silent. "What do you mean by 'something'?"

"..."

"Hey, dont talk about my soulmate like that, you white haired freak."

"..."

"..."

"..."

"HEY WHAT'S WITH THE SILENCE, IS IT REALLY THAT SURPRISING THAT I, THE GREAT KING OF CURSES, SUKUNA, HAVE A SOULMATE!" the curse echoed from a mouth on my cheek.

"HAH-" Gojo Sensei quickly covered his laugh, gaining a glare from the lady behind him. "this is interesting, never in my years of living would i have expected, you to have a soulmate, how interesting! wait until the higher ups hear!" Gojo sensei said, smiling dumbly to himself.

A/n

I'm not even going to lie, I totally forgot this book existed lol...

My life got kinda hectic during covid, leaving me unable to really come back and write or even really look at the manga/ anime.....

This book will be taking a slight turn from how it was originally going to go!

Now that I have taken such a long break I think I kinda know more of a direction... maybe

Please be patient with my updates (as you all have already!)

Thanks again for your support and for reading!

Have a great day/ night, and until next time!
