Manhattan, New York
The sky was getting dark. It was a windy, November day, and a storm was coming to NYC. People were doing their daily rounds. Riding the subway, taking the taxi, to where they needed to go, and the like.
A big rumble of thunder caught everyone's attention. People without umbrellas had to run for cover. Another rumble of thunder, shook the city. A man was mumbling in Russian, as he was getting wet.
The thunderstorms were happening, all thanks to a disturbance, that was swinging through the Northeast. The winds were extremely gusty. A flash of lightning, followed by a loud thunderclap, had some shaking like leaves, as they scrambled to seek shelter, from this unusual November thunderstorm.
Eventually, the storm died down, and the sun came back out. NYC was in for a clear and calm night.
