It Started With a Kiss (Renga)

School ended a few hours ago, Reki and Langa chose to skate around for a bit before heading to Reki's place to study. When they walked into Rekis room Langa flopped himself onto Rekis bed letting a big sigh leave his lips.

"I don't want to study..." Langa pouted closing his eyes. Reki silently agreed with Langa as he throws his bag on the floor next to his desk.

Reki took a seat on the floor glancing up at Langa who looks asleep 'Is this a good time to bring it up?' Reki thought as he closed his eyes and crossed his arms.

Langa turns his head from facing the wall to face Reki, he noticed Reki was a bit distressed about something. Langa slightly opens his mouth to ask Reki if he was alright but stopped when Rekis amber colored eyes opened making eye contact with Langa. For some strange reason Langa felt as if his heart was being squeezed but he quickly ignored the feeling.

"Hey Langa, I heard this thing at school and I was wondering..." Reki looked away scratching the back of his head, hesitation showing itself 'Would he think this is weird?' Reki looked back at Langa to see his confused and curious face. Reki took a deep breath and continued "I was wondering if you wanted to try it?"

Langa pushed himself up and sat down on the floor infront of Reki "What is it?" Langa asked noticing Reki's slight blush 'Is he blushing?' Langa didn't know that what Reki would say is will also make his face heat up a bit.

"...A kiss between friends" Reki quietly said but was loud enought for Langa to hear. Reki noticed Langas confused face turn into a full on tomato head. "Uh Langa?" Reki called.

Langa cleared his throat and looked at Reki with a still small noticeable blush "A kiss between friends? Um is it suppose to be like um friends with benefits kind of thing or...?"

"Ah no n-not really, it's just practice kissing that's all! Haha..." Reki nervously laughs ''This was a bad idea! Retreat! RETREAT!' "You know what Langa, nevermind that was a really stupid quest-"

"Lets try it"

Reki stood quiet for a bit processing what Langa said "....Hah?"

"I said let's try it" Langa said again with a straight face but in reality he's panicking inside.

Reki calmed himself down and stared at Langa "Um do you know...?"

"No....I've actually never kissed or been kissed by anyone..."
"...Me either"
"I guess we just...lean in?"

Langa gently grabs Rekis cheek with his palm and slowly started to lean in, Reki also starts to slowly lean in both boys staring at each other never losing eye contact.

There lips touched each other making both boys stop and glance down then look back up at each other.

"Are you sure you want to do this?" Reki whispers out.

Without answering Langa moved forward making both his and Rekis lips finally completely touch. Langa didn't know what to do but he remembered somethings from romance movies he finds his mom watching alone. He slowly started moving his lips and closing his eyes.

Reki was in a bit of shock when his lips met Langas 'Holy shit! Holy shit! We're kissing! Wait I have to move my lips! But how!? Just follow Langas lead!' Reki slowly started to follow Langas lead making both boys move in synced. Reki started melting into the kiss he felt hot but ignored that and closed his eyes. Reki's hand finds its way on the back of Langas head tangling his blue locks to his fingers.

Langa slighty opens his eyes to look at Reki 'He's liking it...maybe I can do more' Langa moved his free hand onto Rekis waist 'Such a small waist....' He thought as he moved more down and found his way under Rekis hoodie.

Reki shudders to the feeling of Langas cold hand touch his skin 'So cold...' He thought but he didn't mind he wanted Langa to explore him '.....Wait I wanted what!' Reki breaks the kiss and moves back breathing heavily. His eyes are wide when he remembered what they were doing just now.

Langa didn't like the feeling he had when Reki pulled away, he didn't want to stop but of course he can't say that "Sorry" Langa breaths out.

"N-No no! Sorry this was my idea! You don't have to apologize!" For a moment they sat in silence waiting for something to happen.

When both boys had enough of the silence they both turn to each other to say something but then a phone rang, Langas phone rang.

Langa took out his phone then turned to look at Reki "Sorry I have to take this"

"No it's okay take it!" Reki said with a smile and Langa smiles back before leaving the room. Reki waited a bit for Langas foot steps to fade away before getting up and closing the door. He stood there for a bit but then fell on his bed and rolling into a ball. He hugged his knees and covered his red face. Did he really just kiss his best friend, the blue haired boy that he has been friends with for almost a year already.

Reki squeezes his eyes shut as he whispers to himself
"I can't....I'm not supposed to feel like this...this can't happen again...not again"
