Three Choices: Katsuki, Shoto, Rody

4. Todoroki's Bedroom

We make our way back to the dorms, engaging in playful banter the rest of the walk. Bakugo doesn't lead me hand-in-hand this time, which makes me feel a little disheartened. He marches ahead of me and Todoroki. Todoroki carries my books and walks close beside me, our shoulders occasionally brushing against each other. I'm sure it's an accident, but his contact sends a warm spark through me. I try not to look at him for fear that he'll notice my cheeks growing rosy.

As we enter the dorm's common room, Midoriya and Rody make their way into the room from the stairs. Rody catches sight of me, briskly walks up to me, and asks how my appointment went and if I was officially a student yet.

I show him my badge. "Say hello to UA High Class 1A's newest student!"

Rody catches me off guard by giving me a firm hug. I forget to breathe for a second. Pino flies up to my cheek and gives me a little peck. Pulling away, Rody looks away shyly. Pino retreats back behind his neck, blushing. "We should celebrate! Let's eat out!"

We make plans to eat out later tonight. In the meantime, Midoriya introduces me to everyone else in the class. Everyone seems nice, and I can tell that this is a smart, talented class. I imagine that I'll learn so much from my classmates and become a better hero!

Eventually, Todoroki shows me my room and drops off my books in my room. "What do you know? We are neighbors."

"Really, that's great to hear, Todoroki!!! Will I get to see your room?"

"I can show you, but you have to promise I can see your room once you get it all set up."

I nod and squeal with excitement, "Let's see your room now!"

Todoroki shows me his room, and I'm amazed with how traditional and simple it is. We hang out in his room, talking and laughing. Eventually, someone loudly bangs on his door.

"WILL YA SHUT UP, YOU DUMB ICY HOT!"

I roll my eyes, "I wonder who that could be."

I'm closest to his door, so I walk over and open the door as Bakugo yells.

"COULD YOU BE ANY LOUDER IN TH--" Bakugo shuts up immediately when I open the door and our faces are mere inches apart. His mouth hangs open in shock.

"D-Dessa, W-what are you doing here? Why are you in Todoroki's room?!?"

"Oh, is someone jealous?"

"NO. I TOLD YOU IT'S NOT SAFE TO BE ALONE WITH ICY HOT! YOU DUMB? LISTEN TO ME, IDIOT!"

I cover my ears. "Bakugo! You don't need to yell! I'm literally in your face right now!"

He grumbles, and grabs my hand, pulling me out of Todoroki's room.

"W-what are you doing!" I stumble, falling against his shoulder. He wraps his other arm around me.

"Girls shouldn't be alone with guys."

My face ignites with a deep blush for two reasons. One: Bakugo does have a valid point. And second: why was Bakugo holding me so... intimately?

Todoroki walks out into the hallway. "Bakugo, I don't know what kind of person you think I am, but I'd never make Dessa feel uncomfortable." He looks at how Bakugo has me wrapped up in his arms and glares fiercely at Bakugo. Fire sparks on his left hand and spreads up to his shoulder and along his left side of his face. "Which is what you are doing to her now."

Bakugo's grip on me tightens briefly, but then loosens. He lets go of me, and walks off dejectedly without a word. He enters the room next to Todoroki and slams the door shut. Before Todoroki can say anything, Rody runs down the hallway, waving to us.

"Hey guys!" He faces me. "Dessa, your things have arrived. Want help moving them?"

"Oh! Rody, you'd be my hero if you helped me!"

Rody smiles, "That's yours truly!" Pino flies out and flaps her wings happily.

"I can help too," Todoroki adds. Rody glances at Todoroki and gives him a slight glare, which Todoroki is oblivious of.

"Todoroki, my hero too!"
