This one is light and airy, so it should cheer you up if you're reeling from the past poems. This is a poem I wrote based on my own feelings and experiences. So, read on :)

Similes, metaphors, and alliteration
To some of you it means nothing
Words spilling over a page unsaid
Emotions said and tears unshed
Expression isn't easy for me
Some of you just can't see
Every word adds up to something bigger
Deeper than the words you read
It means more than that to me
Depression is warded off by the words spilling from my pencil
Anger is released through a brush
Happiness is spread through a page
Some of you will never know
So take two and two and make four
Then write or draw something pure
And more and more and more and more
Until everything is raw and no facade is up
Words on a page are more than they seem
Each one taking me closer to my dreams
