I open my eyes as the bright morning sun pierces through the pearl white lace curtains. I turn on my side to see my handsome boyfriend Druig. I take in Druig's features. His brown fluffy hair, his strong shoulders, and how he even sleeps with a small smile on his face.
I slide closer to him and lay on his chest as he sluggishly makes room for me. Wrapping his arms around me and leaving a kiss on my forehead we take in the world. It's quiet but a peaceful quiet. Birds chirping,the wind blowing, it's a peaceful solace.
I place a kiss on his bare chest and wrap my arms around his waist. "Someone's in a mood.",he says chuckling with a gravely morning voice. I look up and kiss his lips with a smile,"Morning." Druig's accent is always so thick after he wakes up it's so cute.
We lay in bed enjoying the quietness and each other's company. Druig reaches over to me and pulls me on his lap so I'm straddling him while he lies in bed. "What's the plan today darling?",he says as he holds my waist waiting for my answer.
"Hm maybe we could just stay home? Yesterday was rough.",I say with a sigh. We fought deviants all day yesterday! They just kept coming! I guess I zoned out because Druig pats my thigh saying my name. "Y/N! Y/N!" I snap out of to see Druig giving me a sad smile.
I lay down on him and he plays with my hair. "I say...we should go down stairs,make breakfast,and have a me and you day? Sound good?",he says looking down at me. I nod and he kisses my forehead. With all the insanity that comes with being an Eternal. Druig and the others have really become a safe space. I wouldnt go through this with anyone else but them.
