Y/N's POV
"AHH!",I grunt in pain as I pick myself off of the ground. I wipe my mouth and get a slight taste of iron on my lips as the crimson liquid spreads on the fabric of my clothes. There has been a deviant attack and this one doesn't seem to fond of the idea called surrender. "Y/N you alright!",Sersei says yelling over to me!
"Yes!",I yell back returning to the air flying towards the deviant. I shoot beams from my eyes and the deviant stumbles. "Atta girl Y/N!", Ikaris says with a smile. I fly back to the ground and try to do a little ground work with Makarri and Sprite.
As I continue to send attack after attack, Druig comes over and checks on me. "Hey you good!",he says with a worried look. "Dru don't worry I'm fine. I'm the least of our problems right now.",I say as my energy beams hit a weak spot on the deviant buying me time to comfort Druig.
"I'm ok. No worries.",I say with a nod expecting one back from Druig. He nods and gives a sigh in response. "Now let's go kill this thing.",I say with a smirk. He gives me a smile and runs towards the celestial.
The fight seemed to have gone on forever. This giant can't seem to fall.
"Everybody meet below!",Phastos yells. We all run for cover and meet up behind a crate of metal containers that were on 18 wheelers. "Wait...where's Ikaris?",Phastos says looking around. We hear a loud scream and it's Ikaris. Right there. Trapped in the corner by a deviant. The deviant has him pinned against the wall squeezing tighter and tighter.
"Ikaris!",I yell running over. "Y/N! No! Wait!",I hear Druig yell but I keep running. I jump and fly into the air.
I fly as fast as I can go to make it Ikaris. I get to the deviant and tackles it before it chokes Ikaris even more.We make it away from the others and so the fight ensues. Attack after attack. Blow after blow. This thing doesn't want to back down at least not without a fight.
The deviant then charges at me and I feel a sharp pain in my stomach. A firey stinging pain. I reach down and it feels wet. I feel dizzy and stumble.
Druig's pov
"Y/n!", I say running over to her. I feel tears well in my eyes as I see the love of my life hit the ground. Athena and the others go to take care of the deviant while I go to Y\N. I get to her and place her in my lap. She coughs and blood comes up. "No,no,no youre ok! Youre going to be ok! Baby you cant leave me!",I yell as the tears that threatened to pour out of my eyes like overfilled buckets now run down my face.
I look up to see Sprite running over and Athena on top of the deviant with her spear in its head. The others follow in-suit of Sprite and come over.
Y/N's Pov
I open my eyes to see a blurry Druig and the others. I blink through the tears and reach up to Druig's face to carress it! He leans into my hand and places a kiss on it. "Whats with all the sad faces hm?",I say with a small chuckle looking at my best friends. Druig even though he clearly isnt amused by my dark humor, he gives me a smile and tucks a stray hair behind my ear.
"Its going to be ok guys.",I say giving a weak smile. Slowly my hearing leaves then my sight. As I fade I hear the Druig yelling my name and the cries of the others.
Druig's Pov
Shes gone. The love of my life. My world. My princess. Gone. I lay her body gently on the ground and place a kiss on her forehead before looking at the others. Him. This is all his fault!
"This is your fault you bastard!",I say walking over to Ikaris with glowing eyes! I grab him by his collar and throw him against a wall. Then I fly over ignoring the protest of our friends and get on top of him.
Before I knew it I couldnt stop myself. The pain. The hurt. The shock. All hit me at once. My baby is gone! All. Because. Of. Him. Punch after punch I feel myself blacking out. "Shes! Dead! Because! Of! You!", I yell. I finally snap back into when I feel Phastos,Kingo,and Gilgamesh seperating us.
"Druig calm down! Druig!", I hear Ajak yell. Gilgamesh and Phasto let me go. "Calm down...",I say with a whisper. "One of the best people I've ever known is gone Ajak! And you want me to calm down!", I say walking over to her. "Druig you aren't the only one who lost a friend!",Sersi says. "Yeah! You're right Sersi! I lost my girlfriend!", I yell.
The group looks at me quiet. Some looks of shock. Some of worry. Some of sadness.
Y/n and I wanted to keep things a secret for a while. Until we get this deviant thing in control.
Ajak looks at me with a soft yet stern look. I stand in front of her for a moment not saying a word. She pulls me in for a hug and a loud sob comes out. It feels like my world is crashing and I can't stop it. Shes gone.
This was a request I just so happen to be in a writing mood so this was more than perfect. I hope you guys like it. I rarely do sad endings. But this was a very nice change of pace.
