The next morning I saw Diego was walking back and forth thinking what to do. Then I went to the village to see how they are doing. I saw the men who were ready to fight are training. They asked me, "Can you help us training?" I said, "Sure." Meanwhile I was training we did't know that we were being watched by the herd. Manny said, "We should scare them off to not take our land." The rest of the herd said, "Sure, but how?" Manny said, "Maybe, we can set their house on fire." Diego and Crystal was following me but other side of the village. There was another group, but it was apes lead by Gutt and David. While I was training them we smelled smoke like something burning. We stop training and we went to investigate what is was. The other side of village there apes were raiding the people. Then Diego comes in to tell me saying, "A group apes are raiding the village. I said, "Where?" Diego said, "Follow me." I ask, "Why Crystal is with you?" Crystal answer me, "I felt safe with Diego." I said, "Okay, stay close to Diego to be safe." I went to other side of village to fight the apes off. Then I saw that Gutt and David is there in the village. I yelled at them, "Gutt, David!" They looked and they me and they said, "Group up!" There was fifty apes on their side. I had only twenty-five on my side, while the rest were helping others and others were turning off the fire. Gutt yelled, "Charged!" We charged at them and it was two to one. I had to deal with Gutt and David and the rest two apes. I got knock down I took my bow and arrows I shot them in the air and I yelled "Fall back!" The men ran away and the apes didn't know that arrows were falling on top them. Some were dead and others hurt. I yelled again, "Attack!" The men charged at the apes and it was a long fight. Diego saw a saber with white fur, but looked familiar he decided to followed with Crystal. Diego started chasing the white saber as soon he tackled the white saber it was Shira. Diego said, "Why are here in the camp?" Shira answer, "I was with herd and they said they wanted to get rid of the humans." Diego looked at Shira in her deep blue eyes and same with Shira as soon Diego was about speak a saber knock him down. It was Brian who knock down Diego. Brian said to Diego, "Get away from Shira and don't get close to her!" Diego looked at Shira and left them alone. The apes retreated and we went to turn off the fire in the camp. I saw Manny with a torch in his trunk I threw my spear at the torch that went flying. Manny looked where it came from that was me. I said to Manny, "Why are you burning this village?"Manny looked at me saying, "Humans are going to take our land." I said to Manny, "You know I'm the leader of this village." Manny said, "Why you didn't told us that you are the leader?" I said, "Why do you think I haven't told you yet?" Manny said, "Because I threw you in the air?" I said, "For that reason you split the herd up that are fighting against each other." Manny said, "I'm sorry what I did to you." I said, "you're forgiven." After that talk we are united together like a family and I told the village now are friends with the herd. I saw Diego coming and Crystal from the woods. Diego looked down when I looked at him. I also saw Brian and Shira were coming from the woods too. Shira was looking at Diego instead of Brian. I knew that Shira have feelings for Diego, but I don't understand that Diego is feeling down. After a long day we were at the herd's cave having a talk and I noticed that Diego and Crystal are left out. I looked at Shira and Brian are having a great time, so I went to Diego and Crystal. Diego was telling stories to Crystal about their adventure, but never told his. Diego say to Crystal, "Someday you will have a good time like Brian and Shira." I noticed that Diego's voice is breaking down of sadness. I was sitting down next to Crystal, Diego, Crystal, and I were looking at Brian and Shira were having fun together. Diego's eyes started to water. Diego covered his face in his paws, so no one would see him crying. Crystal came close to Diego saying, "Don't cry I will be with you at all time like a daughter." Diego looked at Crystal with a smile. I knew that Shira totally forgot that she have feelings for Diego or she didn't because she just did it. When the herd went to sleep and there was no room for Diego, Crystal and I we decided to sleep outside. I went to grab some wood to make fire to keep them warm. Crystal cuddled to Diego's fur for warmth. I knew that Diego would have a good heart like a good father. I was in the tree looking at the fire and I stood wake to keep the fire going from burning out then I just fell asleep. When I woke up in the middle of the night and I saw Shira came out of the cave to take a walk. Shira saw that Diego was protecting Crystal from the cold to keep her warm. Shira was looking at Diego and Shira came close to Diego to his ear saying, "Give me time who to be with to have the right saber." When Shira was halfway to the cave, Diego woke up looked at the cave and tears started to form in his eyes. Shira was crouching to not be seen by Diego. Diego started to sing at that moment. Diego's tears were streaming down to his cheeks and went back to bed. Shira was crying silently how Diego can be so soft to others who need love. Shira was thinking Diego can be so loving to others. Shira feel different for Diego instead of Brian. Shira was thinking that she was with the wrong saber to be with. Diego on the other hand who cares for others. Shira is thinking who can worthy to be with.
