A few weeks had passed since Leonardo and I had fought

A few weeks had passed since Leonardo and I had fought. We ignored each other when the rare occasion passed that we were in the same vicinity. A cold glare was our only greeting.

I had spent my time between napping and 'bonding' as we called it with Bella, it consisted of  movie nights and drinking wine well after the clock had struck midnight. I was quick to learn that Bella cried during movies, a lot.

And I mean a lot.

I had to grab her tissues when Mufasa died and hold her until she deemed herself stable enough to make it to her room.

*Flashback*

"And I just- why did he have to die Mara." Bella's sobbing accompanied the movie as she grabbed another tissue. I stroked her head reassuringly. She was curled up in a ball as she lay on the couch, her head in my lap.

Bella, wine and a sad movie were not a good combo.

"He just wanted to save Simba."

Sniffle.

"And he was so nice."

Sniffle.

"Scar can suck my balls."

Sniffle.

I heard the door open from the corner, the dimmed lights outlining what I presumed to be Giovanni's figure.

"Is she alright? I heard crying." His concerned tone echoed from the corner.

I pointed towards the tv. "Mufasa just died."

Gio's mouth made an 'o' in realisation. He closed the door then shuffled into the room. "I always cry at this part."  He announced.

I smiled softly at him.

*Flashback over*

It was finally time to rid my foot of the horrid cast. Even though I had bullied Gio and Bella into signing it, I was sick of using the crutches.

I headed down to the infirmary, each step slower than the last. The crutches had taken its toll on my hands, I had wrapped socks around the hand grips to release a marginal amount of strain on my wrists caused by my entire weight on them with each step.
