I slammed Mara's door closed after finding her room empty. They had been gone for an hour now and I was starting to get unsettled. How long does it take them to get ice cream?

I try not to invade my sister's privacy only if necessary, but this is an emergency. I check the tracker that I installed in Bella's phone to see that they are at a club. I mutter profanities under my breath as I head for my car. I yell at a couple of my men to follow me, including Giovanni.

After a quick drive, definitely over the speed limit we reach the club. I slammed the door as I checked my gun before putting it back in its holster.

The bright neon lights illuminate my path as I make it passed the bouncers, their heads bowed in recognition.

This is my club.

The dance floor is packed with people as they dance around each other, high on serotonin and alcohol. I scan my gaze over the people, my eyes landing on my sisters figure which is slouched on a bar stool.

I make my way over to her, Giovanni following behind me.
"Bella, you alright?" I questioned. Her head snaps up violently before her cloudy eyes focus on me.

She's drunk as hell.

"Hello, brother." She wiggles her eyebrows as she attempts to recreate the line from the Vampire Diaries. She made me watch all of the seasons last year.

I pinch the bridge of my nose in frustration. "Sorella where's Mara?" (Sister). She looks around in confusion as if she's only realising Mara isn't with her before realisation dawns on her face. "Oh she said she was going to the bathroom." She hiccuped.

I instructed Gio to bring her back to the car and I made my way towards the bathroom. The loud, obnoxious music began to fade away as I travelled further down the hall.

As I neared the woman's bathroom it was quiet, unusually quiet. I cautiously approached the door, listening to any sounds indicating Mara was in there.

I could hear a thud and then some inaudible mumbling. I removed my knife from its pocket in my suit before slamming the door open.
