"FOR THE LAST TIME, I AM NOT OK!" A loud crack rings through the dining pavilion, with Nico's voice following seconds later. Heads turn to Nico or the new crack in the ground, intersecting with the last one.
Nico looks to the crack he created, up to the faces of the campers, them quietly mumbles, "I'll be in the Hades cabin, so don't bother me unless it's an emergency." He turns towards a shadow, almost stepping in before a voice breaks the silence.
"Nico, wait!" Heads turn to Will Solace, who looks as if he is going to run to Nico. Nico looks at him, eyes conveying a message, before stepping into the shadow. Will's hands are visibly shaking as he pauses for a second. He then runs towards the Hades cabin.
"Will stop! He doesn't want anyone in there. He specifically said." Percy says, reaching out to stop the boy.
"Maybe he does, you just don't know that," Will snaps back, snatching his hand away.
"Your his doctor, what good will you do?" A voice asks from the crowd. Will's head snaps to the direction of the voice, rage growing on his eyes. The crowd parts to show Drew, hands on her hips.
"I mean he is obviously depressed, and he's gay, so he's not going to find anyone or anything in life. He might as well just leave. Go join his father forever." Campers gasp at her words, but before anyone can move, Will explodes. He stomps up to her, pointing his finger to her face.
"Shut. Up. You know nothing, and I mean nothing about Nico." Drew scoffs.
"And what do you know that I don't? Your just his doctor after all." A slap rings off of the pillars.
" I am not just his doctor. I know what he has been through. I know his pain and suffering. And he has found someone. As a daughter of Aphrodite, I thought you would see it loud and clear, but apparently not." Will walks away, leaving a red faced Drew and stunned camp behind him. They all watch as he walks up to the Hades cabin and knocks rhythmically on the door. The door opens ever so slightly before Will is dragged in, the door being locked behind him once again.
