It was the day after Dallas had asked me to be his girlfriend and we were walking back to the Curtis household for Dallas to apologize to Darry. He didn't want to but I'm making him, to be fair Darry let me stay in his home and treats me like I'm apart of their family, he has to.
We got to the house and I sat down on the couch next to Johnny without a word as Dallas walked to the kitchen to find Darry.
"He's a fucking simp" I said laughing while Johnny looked at me like I spoke a foreign language, "right, sorry, he asked me to be his girlfriend"
"FUCKING FINALLY" Steve had yelled coming out of the bathroom with no shirt on and a bloody nose. "You got bionic ears or something" Johnny said laughing.
"Yes, now tell me EVERYTHING y/n/n" he said dramatically while sitting in front of you
"Better not tell him everything y/l/n" Dallas said while staring at you, you and Johnny laugh but you decide to address his nose, "So Stevey what's up with your nose"
"The kids an idiot is what's up" he said glaring at ponyboy who had just walked into the room, "just cus you've got a big nose don't means it's my fault" pony said while stuffing chocolate cake in his face.
"What the hell are y'all taking about" dally says while reaching out to touch Steve's nose but is swatted away, "ponyboy got jumped by some soc's" sodapop said from the kitchen.
You felt Johnny stiffen next to you, you gave him a "what's wrong look" and he shrugged you off so you dropped it, but as you turned to ponyboy your attention now landed on the forming scar on his neck you had yet to realize when you first walked in....it was the same one he had in the paper..you spoke after a long pause,
"This is when it starts"
