Part 22

You walk up the finale step and peak around the corner to see more Terrorists waiting at the end of the hallway. You take a deep breath and start firing the gun. The first 2 went down quickly but you ran out of bullets. Dropping the gun and lifting your right hand to fire the glove at the third man but he fired first and the bullet went straight through your left shoulder. You yell in pain but quickly fired a blast hitting him in the chest. You run to the door that they were guarding and open it to see 3 men pointing a gun at you.
"Shit." You say as you hold your left arm against your chest with your right.
Your about to take cover as they start to fire but you hear a loud thud and open your eyes to see that they are all lying on the floor.
"Y/n..." Bucky says with a sigh of relief as he runs towards you and you collapse in his arms as you now realize how much pain your in and can no longer stand on your own.
"Bucky." You say with a smile and kiss him. Bucky kisses you back passionately but only for a short moment and he pulls away.
"Let's get you out of here." He says and you nod.
Bucky places your right arm around his shoulder and his metal arm around your waist to help you walk as he hold onto his gun with his right hand.
"Guys I have her." Bucky says over his ear piece. "We are on the second lower level. Heading to the main level now."
Bucky leads the way to another corridor around the corner where there is another set of stairs that lead upwards.
"Almost there." Bucky says and he gently helps you up the stairs as you start to struggle more.
"Bucky..." you start to say but trail off as you start to feel dizzy and tired.
Bucky catches you mid fall as you walk up the last step. Sam runs up to you both as he watches behind you, making sure no one sneaks up.
"She's lost a lot of blood." Bucky says as he looks at your 4 wounds and notices that the one on your stomach is still bleeding and has now soaked through the cloth.
Bucky picks you up bridal style as you drift in and out of consciousness and races to the door with Sam.
"We are out. Heading to the jet now." Sam yells as Steve and Tony are fighting a couple dozen guards outside and see the three of you running to the jet.
"Let's go." Tony says to Steve as they race to the jet.
"Friday, start the jet." Tony says and the engines start.
Tony quickly checks on you after he removes his suit and kneels beside you as Bucky had placed you on a row of seats and buckled you in.
Bucky removed the cloth from your stomach to see the extent of your wound.
"Here, use this." Sam says as he hands Bucky some gauze and he places pressure on your wound.
"Tony, I've got this. Get us out of here!" Bucky says as the guards have started firing machine guns at the jet. Tony hesitates but rushes to the pilot seat and the jet lifts off the ground and faces it towards the church as its now in the air.
"Never again." Tony mumbles to himself and fired a missile at the warehouse, causing a large explosion that shakes the jet.
"Tony? What did you do?" Steve says as he stands behind the pilot seat and watches the warehouse fall to the ground, killing all the soldiers inside and around the perimeter.
Tony ignores Steve and takes the jet high into the sky and at full speed towards SHIELDS aircraft.
"How is she?" Tony yells to Bucky who has not moved from your side and is still holding pressure to your wound.
"I think the bleeding stopped." Sam answers for Bucky as he checks your pulse and breathing. He notices how worried Bucky looks as he suspected what was happening between the 2 of you for awhile now.
"She has to be okay Sam." Bucky says shaking as he tries to hold back tears and he looks at you.
"She's strong. Don't worry." Sam says reassuring him as the jet lands on the helicopter pad of SHIELDS air craft.
