Enemies to Lovers

Part 23

You wake up laying in a bed, remembering what happened at the church and how Bucky found you. You carefully sit up in pain and look around the room to see that it's empty but can hear voices on the other side of the door.
You look down and remove the IV from your arm and the heat monitor from your finger.
You realize that you are not in your same clothes or a hospital gown, but in Bucky's favourite t-shirt, your underwear but with no pants.
You cautiously swing your legs over the side of the bed and see that your thigh is properly bandage and same with your arm, shoulder and stomach. You stand up and feel the cold floor on your bare feet and walk across the room to the door with little pain from your leg.
"I don't care Tony! That's not how we do things!" You hear Steve yell through the door and hesitate to open it as you listen carefully to the conversation.
"I had to end it right there or they would come back for my sister!" Tony yelled back.
"I have to agree with Stark on this one Steve. If we left them alive they would retaliate ten times worse. Look at what they did to Natasha.." Bucky said with restraint in his voice.
Worried for Natasha as you remember what they did to her when you were taken, you quickly open the door to see Tony, Bucky and Steve in shock.
"Is Nat okay?" You ask shaking as you think the worst happened to her.
Bucky takes a step towards you but Tony rushes to hug you first. "She's okay. Banged up but she will be okay." Tony pulls you away but doesn't let his hands leave your shoulders as he look at you.
"Im okay." You say with a small smile. "You guys found me like I knew you would." You say and look at Bucky who sighs with relief that your alive.
"No one will hurt you ever again." Tony says as he pulls you in for another hug and let's go as Steve takes a step forward.
"I know. And I would've done the same thing if it was any of you." You say and give Steve a glare as you figured out what happened from the small bits of conversation you overheard.
"Y/n..." Steve begins to say but you interrupt.
"I know Steve. Your all about justice and doing what's right. But sometimes you don't have a choice, sometimes you need to get your hands a little bloody. Not all of us can have super strength or speed. Some of us are human." You say and as you leave Steve speechless from what you said.
"But I think I need to give the super soldier who carried me out of that hell hole a proper thank you." You say and walk over to Bucky and smile up at him. Not caring what people think about the two of anymore you stand on your tiptoes and wrap your hands around Bucky's neck and hug him. Bucky places his arms gently around your waist not wanting to hurt you and nuzzles his face into the side of your neck. You pull away just enough to be face to face and kiss him. Bucky raises his hands to hold your face and kisses you back.
You pull back from Bucky and stand flat in your feet and smile as you feel your checks blush.
"What...?" Tony says in shock as he's lost for words. Steve stands there in silent still angry about the decision Tony made at the warehouse.
"I want to see Nat." You say breaking the silence.
"Okay." Bucky says softly and leads you down the hall to a closed door that's at the end, leaving Tony and Steve standing there with their jaw open in shock still.
"When did that happen?" Steve finally asks.
"I'm not sure if I'm going to kill him yet..." Tony says as he remembers that Bucky was the one who carried you out of the warehouse and who also protected you when the terrorist first attacked at the coffee shop.
