It wasn't often that Setsuka attended house parties, but when her girlfriend invited a bunch of friends to a Christmas party in her and Kanade's mansion for the night, she just couldn't turn Hibiki down! She was also told that there would be alcohol in the eggnog there, so she had extra incentive to go.
When she arrived, she realized that she was one of the first ones to get there. She couldn't find her girlfriend anywhere near the door, so the billiards player decided to do what she did best: stir up a little friendly chaos. With a box of decorations out on the kitchen counter, Setsuka grabbed a few mistletoes from inside and got to work.
She hung them up in places that you wouldn't expect until you were caught under one, like a few hallways deeper into the mansions and over cupboards, but she also put some in traditional places, like in doorways and over couches. No matter who fell into them, the result would be amusing and fun for everyone.
Finally, the other guests from Hope's Peak Academy arrived and spread throughout the mansion. Setsuka decided to begin her hunt for Hibiki through the Otonokoji residence, hoping to find her and maybe catch her under some mistletoe. That idea was the reason that she put all of that mistletoe up in the first place, it was to all have yet another excuse to kiss her cute girlfriend.
The billiards player kept wandering the mansion, but she then spotted one of her mistletoes in the hallway being noticed by the 78th class's resident lucky student, Makoto Naegi. As soon as the short boy realized what it was exactly, he blushed and tried to quickly get away, but he was approached on both sides by two others from his class.
"Ah, Makoto. It's pleasant seeing you here." Kyoko remarked, eyeing the mistletoe above him. She then noticed the other person. "What are you doing?" She questioned.
"Why are you so concerned? I merely saw him first." Byakuya shot back, and Makoto noticed that they both had come to him because of the mistletoe.
"G-Guys, please don't argue! I can move out of the way and-" He started, but was ignored and cut off.
"Why don't we share him then?" Kyoko suggested, walking closer to the flustered lucky student.
"Hm, that seems to be the best option to avoid unnecessary time-wasting." The heir agreed, and the two of them kneeled to the lucky student's height. As they kissed the smaller boy on both of his cheeks, Setsuka smiled and continued her hunt.
Setsuka's next stop was to the living room to grab a Christmas cookie or two. As she approached the table, she noticed two people bickering under the mistletoe next to the couch. She recognized them as Yamato and Utsuro, the most unexpected couple of Class 79.
"Come on, Utsuro, have you never heard of the mistletoe tradition?" Yamato whined. "At Christmas, if you're under the mistletoe with somebody else, you have to kiss them! It's practically a rule!"
"It's a boring rule." The ginger grumbled, looking up at the mistletoe. Suddenly, Yamato leaned forward and kissed Utsuro, catching him off-guard. The smaller boy backed up and accidentally tripped backwards onto the couch, taking the inventor with him.
Utsuro soon relaxed into the kiss, not using his Divine Luck to escape as the two kissed on the couch. Yamato soon pulled away with a sly smile. "Is it boring now?" He coyly asked.
"Yes."
"Eeeeh?!"
Setsuka held back her laughter as she headed to the doorway, almost running into someone. "Oh crap, sorry...uh..." She tried to apologize, but didn't know the boy's name.
"It's Hajime Hinata, and it's okay." He chuckled. "Everybody's so lively here, it's way different from the Reserve Course parties."
"Hold on, you're from the Reserve Course? How did you find out about this party?" The billiards player wondered. "And where'd you get the eggnog? I can smell the alcohol in it, it seems strong."
"Oh, those two just invited me over." Hajime replied, pointing to where Fuyuhiko and Kazuichi were arguing over a Christmas cracker. "And the eggnog's from the keg in the kitchen. There's literally a barrel there, haha."
"Mr. Hi-na-ta~!" A cheerful, singsong voice called out. Setsuka turned around and saw Mikado running over to where they were, going past her and enveloping the Reserve Course student into a hug. "I didn't know if you were coming or not!" The wizard giggled excitedly.
"Mikado, there you are! I tried calling you, but you didn't pick up." Hajime laughed, wrapping his arms around the blonde's waist. He then looked up and noticed something above the doorway. "Oh hey, mistletoe."
"Ah, what a coincidence." Mikado commented. Before the Reserve Course student could say anything else, the wizard removed his mask and kissed him roughly, holding him tighter. Hajime moved his hands to Mikado's hips, holding the wizard so that he didn't overwhelm him, though the blonde didn't seem to mind.
While they made out, Setsuka slipped away to the kitchen and went to the barrel on the counter. To her surprise, there was a piece of mistletoe over it, one that the billiards player didn't remember putting there.
"Suka, hey!" She heard and turned around, seeing Hibiki in a red party dress and a shit-eating grin. Before Setsuka could react, the vocalist pounced, wrapping her arms around the taller girl's neck and pulling her down into a kiss.
It was at that moment that Setsuka realized that she had been outwitted; she loved alcohol enough that Hibiki must have predicted that she'd go for it first. As she prepared to shower her girlfriend in compliments and praise, she continued to kiss the vocalist.
