Harry's P.O.V

"Lou I need you to stay with me okay! Stay awake, sing something to me!" I fumbled with my phone hurrying to unlock it.

"Soo one l-last time...." Lou started coughing and he began to doze off.

"No! Lou keep singing, you can't stop!" I lifted him over my shoulder and rushed out of the house. I sat Lou on the lawn and quickly dialed 911.

"C'mon keep singing babe."

"Ineed to- to be the oneee......who takes you hoome. I'm tired, I'm going to lay down."

"Nononono you can't you have to sit up and stay awake!" I helped steady him as a voice picked up on the other end of the phone.

"911 what is your emergency?"

"Helpmyboyfriendshouseisonfire, I-I think he has carbon monoxide poisoning." I glanced at Lou and then at his house. I had no idea what to do.

"Okay sir I need you to calm down. What is the address?"

"719 Maplewood Drive." Louis tried to lay down, but I squatted infront of him and held onto his shoulder to keep him sitting up.

"Alright an ambulance is on the way and I have contacted the fire department.Try to keep him awake for as long as you can and make sure you keep him where there is fresh air...away from the fire." I nodded my head even though I knew she couldn't see me and hung up the phone.

"Alright you only have to stay awake just a little longer. An ambulance is coming okay."

"Alright, b-but why?" His words were a bit slurred and he sounded really tired I felt so bad that this had happened to him. Blisters covered his body along with burn marks.

"Don't you remember what happened?!"

"Noo, all I know is that I am tired..." he started coughing again and I debated on whether to tell him or not. How could he not remember when this literally just happened. I opened my mouth to explain, but just then sirens could be heard in the background. They pulled into the driveway and I tried to get Lou to stand up. I wrapped his arm around my neck and we slowly started for the truck. Paramedics came out with a gurney and I helped get Louis on. A fire truck apeared in front of the house as they began to strap Louis in. I stopped one of the men to tell them where to go.

"The fire started in the kitchen." I turned and got into the ambulance and we headed to the hospital.

When we got there I was told to stay in the waiting room until further notice. Hours have passed and still nothing. I sat in a chair staring at the ground. My hands were clasped together and my elbows dug into my knees as my chin rested against them. All I could think about was Lou. Why'd this have to happen? Why?
