As the clock struck 12, Loid started fading. His body seemed to crumble, slowly turning to dust.
"No! No! Please! I can't fail! " Yor cried. He was disappearing slowly.
"I'm sorry. " She cried, hugging his ghostly remains.
"It's alright. You'll see me next year. " He hugged her back.
Anya could only watch as her one father figure started disintegrating. Tears falling down her face.
"Loid, before you go, please remember.I love you. " Yor cried.
"I know. I love you too. "
"I love you so. " He separated from her. Giving her a final sad smile.
"Please let me go. " His last words.
He's gone. Not forever, but it still hurts. She failed. Yor fell to her knees, Anya hugging her mother.
She failed.
Her lover was gone.
Yor could only cry.
