"Finally my grand daughter, you're here. I'm glad you throw your life in Seoul away. How was the flight?" The oldest Hwang, Yeji's grandma happily said.

"I'm fine halomeoni." Yeji sadly uttered. She felt betrayed that her greatest grandmother, who raised her will be the one who will do this to her. She was an arrogant woman since before, she controls the life of her child and grand children.

After a long hours of flight and ride to from Seoul to New York, they decided to head straight to Yeji's grandma's big mansion.

"My son, I'm glad you made Yeji come here!" Seo Joo's father happily greeted.

"Hi appa. It's so easy to convince Yeji. You know I use my charm." Seo Joo tried to joke.

"Great, now we are good. The partnership will be very successful, I can see it already. These two couple are going to be the best company partners soon when we inherited this to them." Mr. Yang arrogantly said.

"What?" Yeji confusedly asked.

"What's what Yeji? Aren't you happy? Sooner or later I will inherit the Hwang Enterprise to you." The old Hwang said. "You will become one of the most successful person in this country, along with Seo Joo."

"Yeji, I already told you about it." Seo Joo whispered but Yeji just rolled her eyes off.

Soon enough, they heard a steps coming close to the room. Mr and Mrs. Hwang finally appeared.

"Our apologies for the delay, New York is a very busy city." Mrs. Hwang significantly spoke up as they entered the room.

Yeji hurriedly ran to her parents and hug them. "Eomma, Appa."

Her parents approached and gave her a kiss on her cheeks.

"Are you alright Yeji?" The father asked seeing his child feeling so down and broken.

"I wanna go home..." Yeji started to crack her voice as she whispered.

"Don't cry Yeji. We'll talk about this later." The mother calmly said and offered a weak smile.

Somehow Yeji tried to feel relieved, having her parents by her side made her feel at ease. Even though her parents were not able to be there for her for so many years, she never cut her good connection with them. That time Yeji was so young when her parents worked overseas leaving Yeji to her grandmother who is very terrible. They know that the oldest Hwang is a very strict and arrogant person and since she took the responsibility for raising Yeji, the parents couldn't do anything but let the old Hwang take control.

"Anyways Ma'am Hwang, I just wanna remind you that we cannot take this any longer. As soon as Yeji and Seo Joo gets ready, we will introduce them right away to the minister head." Mr. Yang added and stood up taking as sip from his glass of wine.

"I know Mr. Yang." The old Hwang stated and nodded.

"I have to go, I still have some important things to do. Seo Joo, you'll come with me." Mr. Yang flatly said and nodded.

"See you soon Mr. Yang." The grandmother said.

They exchanged goodbyes and Mr. Yang finally walked out of the house.

"See you soon Yeji." Seo Joo said as he talked to Yeji. The woman just nodded and lowered her head to a voice eye contact with the guy.

And after that, the two Yangs finally walked away leaving the Hwangs there.
