At First Sight (Ryeji AU)

Chaeryeong and Yuna descended downstairs after they went to Ryujin's room. When Ryujin found out about what Lia texted, they noticed that Ryujin felt more uneasy and got worried towards the situation, or more specifically towards the cat eyed girl, but she's holding back trying hard not the show it the the girls. It seems like she don't wanna expose her care for Yeji.

They know how much Ryujin care about the latter but she's trying to hide it like she's trying to act that she's mad at the brunette.

Yuna and Chaeryeong made their ways to the kitchen. The older girl preparing for dinner while the younger just sitting on the kitchen island.

"Did you notice something from Ryujin unnie?" Yuna asked starting a conversation.

"What do you mean?" Chaeryeong asked glancing back at Yuna with confused look as she opened the cabinets from the kitchen.

"Ryujin unnie seems so bothered. When you know, we talked about Yeji unnie and that Ryujin unnie found out that Seo Joo's cheating on her." Yuna stuttered not knowing how to let out those words.

"I think I know what you mean." Chaeryeong said as she turned around and leaned against the sink.

"I thought it's just me. As far as I observed, something's bothering her. I tried to ask her what's wrong but she denied it." Dinah stated.

"Yuna, you and I and even Lia unnie.. we know that deep inside we're somehow concerned about the Seo Joo's issue right now. We definitely care because he's cheating on Yeji unnie and she was our best friend after all." Chaeryeong explained. "I'm sure Ryujin feels the same time. That's just that."

"I know that unnie.." Yuna nodded. "But don't you think Ryujin unnie sounded just so cold?"

Chaeryeong responded a kinked brow.

"I expected her to be somehow calm reacting to it, but it's so strange to see her reacting so cold when it's Yeji unnie we are talking about." Yuna muttered wondering. "I know she cares so much about her and would always over react when it comes to her."

"Now that's strange to here from you.." Chaeryeong scoffed towards Yuna. It's just ironic for Chaeryeong to hear the youngest talk about her concern towards Ryujin and Yeji when in the first place, she treated Yeji harsh the last time they first met again.

"Maybe Ryujin just moved on and cared less.." Chaeryeong mumbled, she didn't really think about her answer. It wasn't a serious response.

"Move on? From Yeji unnie? That's impossible." Yuna bitterly chuckled as she rolled her eyes playfully.

"Okay, hold up. You're always the one who keeps shutting Yeji unnie out, why are you bothered if Ryujin no longer cares about unnie this time? I thought you hate her that much." Chaeryeong curiously uttered narrowing her eyes as she meet Yuna's gaze.

"I'm concerned about Ryujin unnie, that's all..." Yuna defended.

"But not with Yeji unnie, is that it?"

Yuna remained silent, she couldn't answer that truthfully. Of course she's very mad at Yeji, she's hurt and felt betrayed. But to ask her if she doesn't care about Yeji, it's not yes or no. Deep inside, she does but she needs to show that she doesn't.

"Can you honestly answer my question right now, do you hate her?" Chaeryeong asked focusing on Yuna this time.

"To be honest? Yes, I am so mad. Unnie, you know how miserable our life was when she disappeared. I'm still disappointed with her for not being there with us when we were in our worst part. We needed her last 3 years. Ryujin unnie needed her, but where was she? She's with that guy, who just cheated him." Yuna let out disappointment
