At First Sight (Ryeji AU)

After Ryujin and her family finished their pizza, Ryujin and Heejin asked their parents if they could stop by the park. At first, the parents hesitated to agree because it might be dangerous going around by just the two of them.

They're worried that Ryujin might escape again like the last time she did. Even so, they're thankful Yeji found her and brought her back to them safe.

But Ryujin promised that she'll be okay and she will not gonna make her parents worry. So even if it's not really a great idea for their parents, they still let then go. And Heejin also promised to take care of her sister.

Then the parents got home first while Heejin and Ryujin found themselves sitting on one of the benches in the park.

Together sitting in silence just listening to the sound of birds singing, people cheering and talking, some low horns of cars around them. Ryujin just wanted to breathe fresh air.

"Having deep thoughts again?" Heejin snapped out opening up a conversation.

"I was just really nervous and excited." Ryujin mumbled.

"Me too." The younger woman said.

"I was looking forward to the day I'd open up my eye lids with a new eyes and be able to sneak into the beautiful surroundings. I'd be able to look around and appreciate every single little thing. I can look up at the sky, I can look at everyone's smile. I just missed it all. I wonder how everything looks like. If it's still the same the last time I have seen it." Ryujin uttered having a smile in her face that cannot be drawn.

"I can see how eager you are to see this all." Heejin nodded.

"I was also thinking about someone I haven't seen for so long." Ryujin took a deep breath. Heejin just looked at her sister knowing that Ryujin's preferring to Yeji.

"Someone who I had never been able to see again. You know.... When she left, I wasn't able to see her again because she's far away from me. But what's making it sad, it will also be the reason why I can't see anything." Ryujin let out.

"I understand you. But hey, it's been so long. It's all in the past Ryujin. She's back and she's trying to make it up." Heejin brought her hands up to caress Ryujin's back.

"I'm trying to take off of my mind from that, it's just... It's keeps haunting me." Ryujin whispered.

It's still confusing. How could Yeji just come back into her life like nothing happened? When she left, Ryujin's life became tragic that brought her into this situation. It's not that easy to forgive and forget.

"You know what sis, never mind..." Ryujin shook her head trying to erase the thought from her mind.

She's trying to forget Yeji for a while because it's taking her all in her mind. But the fact that she's still worried about the brunette, she can't stop thinking about her.

How is she? Is she okay now? Is she still hurting because of what her boyfriend did to her? I hope she's getting better now. Ryujin thought to herself.

And she also thought about the last time she talked to Yeji. The brunette was drunk, broken and wasted. Ryujin hope she's not in that kind of state anymore.

After Yeji had a call from Dr. Lee, she quickly got herself on her way to the building of Siloam Eye Hospital. She found herself searching for the doctor's office through the hallway.
