Hope you enjoy this part! I plan on adding a few parts today!
This was always a touchy subject and I reverted back to the answer we decided was best in given situations like this:
We're dating.
But I added.
But there's more to it.
I tossed it back to him and continued a few minutes on my essay. He passed it back again?
Silon stuff?
I smiled at the way he has said it, it seemed so casual.
Yes. Would you be able to burn this without people seeing you use your power? I threw it back to him. Within a few seconds he had created a small flame in his hands. It was beautiful to watch but was only briefly there. I smiled at the place where the flame had been before getting out of that topic in my mind. I would have to get him to show me his powers later on. The class had started to pick up in noise and I felt it was safe to talk to him out loud now.
"Do you want to play 20Q? But keep it safe, you know in case... someone might hear or something." I whispered, still continuing with the essay as I spoke.
"Okay, what's your favourite colour?" He asked.
"Pink. What's yours?"
"Silver." I gave him a surprised look and he shrugged. "I think it looks elegant. What's the best thing about North?"
I giggled. "He has a big heart. He is compassionate and protective, scares away the bad people." I smiled as I said it but I saw the slight frown he had. He was probably wondering who the bad people are. "What are you doing tomorrow?"
"Well, it's a Saturday, so nothing. Why?" He was keeping up with questions was he?
"Because I was wondering if you wanted to com round to our house. Do you want to?"
"I would like that," He blushed and it looked good on him. Like he heated up his cheeks with his fire power. "What time should I come over?"
"Come in the morning. Everyone should be there. We can explain a little more about everything then. "
"So, Victor." Imogen interrupted by spinning around. I noticed that every other girl had fallen silent. "Are you taken by any chance?" I rolled my eyes but it amused my so I sat back and waited for him to reply.
"Er, no?" He sounded unsure but I swear I heard a few girls squeal. I shook my head at him but a smiled escaped my mouth.
"You should not have said that."
"Why not?" He asked.
"Because now you will have quite literally hundreds of girls throwing their numbers, and most likely bodies at you, trying to be the one who 'slayed' you into a relationship." He looked a little in horror as I told him and couldn't help but laugh at his face.
By the end of the lesson I had completed the essay, allowing myself to have no homework and Victor had 5 notes from different females, giving away numbers and one even wrote down her address. He screwed them in a little ball and put them in the bin as we were heading out. I couldn't not smile at the predicament he had but himself in.
"I've got History so I will see you later? We can meet you outside music because Media is near there." He nodded and we departed our separate ways. I would have had to keep my head down and tried not to be shoved in the way, had my gift not helped itself, people knowing who I am and even opening doors for me. I can't say it didn't beat the pushes but it felt weird me not having to do anything. I arrived just outside history with North and gave him a hug and a little kiss. His lips were tender on mine and the whole world was forgotten about.
"How was Victor?" He asked, teasing a little strand of hair behind my ear.
"He's perfect North, I'm telling you." I said sincerely, he just nodded and we walked into class. I always loved having lessons with North because he made me feel calmer in this dreaded school. Not long now before we can leave and never come back I thought. I was just about to lean to whisper to North when a crackling sounded on the speakers.
"WOULD MISS SANG SORENSON PLEASE REPORT TO THE HEADMASTERS OFFICE."
I sighed and left my bag with North, knowing he would take it to Media if I would be that long. I walked to the reception and told them my name, I was sent straight through. I took a few seconds outside of the door to check my clothing was in place and my hair wasn't too ruffled before I knocked. I heard someone tell me to enter so I quietly opened the door and shut it behind me. I walked over to the chair and sat down.
"How are you doing Uncle?" I asked.
"Hey," He said with that cheeky grin. "It's Headmaster to you here."
