I woke up at the crack of dawn and got ready for the day. After I was packed and ready I headed downstairs. As I was about to grab the door handle when a hand landed on my shoulder causing me to jump. Dream chuckled behind me, "did you have to scare the... the.." I couldn't find a word.
"You know Bad isn't here you can swear" he chuckled. I was usually like that after hanging out with Bad because he didn't like swearing.
"Fine, did you have to scare the fuck out of me?" This made him crack up. I crossed my arms shaking my head at him. Looking at him I noticed he was fully geared up. "And where are you going?" I asked crossing my arms.
"Sapnap and I are going to the nether, so I may not be back before dark. But you have to promise me you will be back behind this door before the sun starts to set" he said.
"Yeah, yeah I know" I mumbled,
"Sam will come past to check" he added,
"Ok Dream, I'm not a child you know" I said
"I know" he said "Just back before the sun starts to set"
"Yes ok. Ok."
"You still haven't promised" I could hear the grin hidden behind the mask.
"I promise" I said,
"Promise what?" Oh come on! I let out a groan,
"I promise I'll be back BEFORE the sun starts to set" I said.
"Good, and be careful, it rained last night" he warned before pulling the door open and walking out. He started heading out and I grabbed onto the sleeve of his green hoodie,
"And you promise me you'll come back" I said looking up at him.
"You know I will" he said looking down at me.
"You didn't promise" I mimicked causing him to laugh.
"I don't sound like that, but I promise I'll come back" he said with amusement in his voice.
"Good" I replied with a satisfied grin and let go of his hoodie. I watched as he left the garden and the castle walls. I turned and headed over to the pond. I leant over the stone wall that Dream had place around it, he doesn't trust me around it, and looked down at the axolotl's swimming around. They were so cute. I then headed around to the stables, I opened the door and walked over to my horse Winter,

I got his saddle from the stand and stepped into his stable,
"Hey Winty" I said giving him a pat on the neck before throwing the saddle over his back and getting him ready to go out. I lead him out of the gates before struggling a moment to get up...

He's a big horse ok. And I may be a bit sshort but that's not the point.

I got situated in the saddle before we headed off. We headed down the main path. It was still fairly early and not many people were up yet. It was peaceful in the mornings, everything was so still. It was fun just riding around and seeing the structures people were working on.

Ok the rest of the day was boring so... back at home

I was back before the sun had begun to set, Sam and George dropped by George deciding to stick around for a bit. I sat in front of the fireplace as I waited for Dream to get back. I always had trouble sleeping when I knew Dream was out. George was already passed out on the couch, snoring his head off. I was reading one of the books Dream had brought back from his travels. I had a fair collectipn of books by now, some Dream had found, some he wrote himself of places he's gone, those ones were specifically for me. I didn't go far, sometimes I would go as far as I could before the sun hit it's peak in the sky before I would have to turn back. If I wasn't back home, which happened a few times, I'd spend the night in a dirt shack waiting for morning, or worse Dream to find me. Although sometimes it was worth the scolding because then I wasn't alone for the night.

I sat up a bit hearing the gates open, jumping up and leaving the book on the floor I ran to the door before pulling it open. Dream and Sapnap looked a little worse for wear but nothing too bad, they were laughing for goodness sake.
"You're still up?" Sapnap asked seeing me,
"Couldn't sleep" I replied with a shrug and I saw Dreams head tilt slightly, a soft smile probably on his lips.
"I tried to get back as soon as I could but a ghast cut off our path" Dream said.
"Pfft you wish the reason I'm still up is because of you. George snores loud enough to keep anyone awake" I said with a laugh as they walked through the door. Dream just shook his head moving his mask aside showing the smile that was hidden beneath.
"I brought back presents" Dream said and a big smile pulled onto my face. "But you can have them in the morning"
"Aw come on" I groaned as he walked over to the ender chest and started putting things inside,
"And now you can't steal them whilst I'm sleeping" he grinned closing the chest.
"And now you can't steal them whilst I'm sleeping" I mimicked. He just smiled shaking his head.
"Oh and if you wake me up just to get your gifts you have to wait another day" he said.
"Oh, you're back" George said finally waking up.
"Well in that case I'm going to go to bed now" I said and headed upstairs.
"Goodnight!" The three boys called up,
"Goodnight!" I called back.
