"Oh Kiara" Dream calling in a singing tone as he walked in.
"Oh Dream" I replied in the same tone looking up from my book. I marked the page I was on before closing the book.
"Did you want to come exploring?" He asked, "I mean we might be gone a few days" he said with a grin on his face.
"Really?!" I asked excitedly getting up off of my bed. Oh I had waited for this day to come. I honestly thought it was never going to happen.
"Yeah" he said with a nod.
"Yes, yes, yes" I squealed and hugged him causing him to chuckle.
"Alright make sure you have things packed, we leave at sunrise tomorrow" he said patting me on the back and I nodded.
I packed one of each tool and some back ups in an enderchest. I also packed one enderchest to bring with me. I was making sure I had ANYTHING we could possibly need. I went to sleep early that night, excited to finally go on a trip with Dream that lasted longer than a day.

I woke up before the sun rose and double checked I had everything I would need. I then got ready and waited downstairs for Dream to be ready. It felt like forever that I sat there waiting for him. Not that I was doing much sitting, I couldn't sit still. I'd sit down and a few seconds later i was back up and walking around or checking my things again. Eventually he came down whilst I picked at some bread.
"Ready to go?" He asked seeing me.
"Oh yeah!" I replied. "I've been ready all morning waiting for a certain sleepy man to get up"
"Come on then" he said and I jumped up off of the couch and grabbed my bag. With that we headed out the door. We headed out of town and into the wilderness.
"So where are we going?" I asked looking up at Dream.
"I don't know" he shrugged, "that's the point of exploring" he looked down at me.
"That's a good point" I said walking beside him. "Do you think we'll find something cool?" I asked.
"Maybe" he said with a grin, "You never know"

As noon arrived we crossed the furthest point I had gone before. Dream just smiled at me and we kept on going. We eventually reached a beach.
"So left or right?" I asked.
"Straight" he said with a grin.
"But I can't swim, I can't even touch the water" I said.
"It's called a boat" he said popping one down in the water. I shook my head,
"I forgot about that" I said,
"Well you don't use them so it's understandable" Dream said, "in you hop" he helped me in before getting in himself and starting to row. "Are you having fun?"
"Yes, I was starting to think you were never going to take me on one of your trips" I said with a small laugh.
"No, I was just waiting until the time was right" Dream replied and I nodded. "Plus, I felt bad that I made you stay home when Schlatt came to town"

We hit land as the sun was starting to set. We dug a hole and Dream put up a door whilst I got some food ready. Dream then put two beds down on either side of the room we had made.
"This will do for the night" Dream said looking around.
"Could certainly be worse" I said with a laugh and handed him a baked potato and steak in a bowl.
"Thank you" he said and we ate. Not too long after finishing dinner we went to sleep, ready for another day of exploration.

Dream and I headed out the next morning after packing up our things. We traveled for a few hours before reaching a desert.
"It's so hot" I whined.
"It's a desert, of course it's hot" Dream laughed. I rolled my eyes before seeing a village. I started running for it, at least there would be shade there. I could hear Dream laughing as I ran under some shade. I leant on the trunk of the tree as i caught my breath. "It's not that bad" he said after catching up.
"It is. It's awful out here. I don't know how they live out here" I replied looking at the unfazed villagers who went about their day as if it was sweltering hot out.
"They're used to it" Dream said walking past. I went and sat by the water well, it was a bit cooler thanks to the water cooling the air around it. "Plus deserts are the best places to find temples" Dream explained.
"And temples have the best treasure" I said recalling what Dream had always said about them. He nodded,
"That's right" he said.
