I hung around with Tubbo, and by association with Tommy too. Ok Tommy wasn't that bad, at first I found him quite annoying but now it's just funny..... usually. We didn't get up to too much during the day. It wasn't until I was getting ready to leave that Wilbur returned. He saw me and smiled walking over.
"I was starting to think I had missed you" he said.
"I was just about to head home" I replied.
"How about you come with me instead?" He asked.
"I have to be home by dark" I reminded him.
"Says?" Wilbur asked with a small grin.
"Dream" I replied a little confused.
"Why?" Wilbur asked crossing his arms.
"Because of the monsters"
"I can fight them off and walk you home" Wilbur said.
"But Dream.." I started,
"Isn't due home until tomorrow" Wilbur said, "One night won't hurt" he said holding out his hand. I smiled shaking my head, "I'll take all the blame" he said wiggling his fingers. I let out a sigh,
"Just this once" I said and took his hand. He smiled and started to lead me out of L'manberg. There was still a bit of light so the monsters hadn't come out yet. "So where are we going?" I asked.
"Somewhere" he replied with a small grin, "relax" he said holding our hands up for a moment.
"I am relaxed" I said.
"If your grip was any tighter my fingers would fall off" he chuckled. I loosened my hand to pull away,
"Sorry I-" I started to apologise.
"No, it's ok" he said holding my hand a little tighter but not enough to hurt. "I'm not going to let anything get you" he smiled. I glanced down at the ground before nodding. "So what did you get up to today?" He asked.
"Um... not much really, Tubbo and Tommy told me about some of their adventures" I replied, "What about you?" I asked.
"You'll see" he said with a smile.
"You aren't going to murder me are you?" I asked making him laugh.
"I couldn't imagine doing that" he said. "Now I need you to close your eyes"
"And trip over, no thank you" I said and he shook his head with a smile.
"Alright hop on my back and then close your eyes" he offered.
"Are you sure I'm not goi-"
"Kiara" he said looking at me.
"Yeah?"
"Just trust me" I nodded and he squatted down a bit so I could jump on his back. "Now I'm trusting you to have your eyes closed" he said as he started walking.
"They are" I said. My heart was racing, I had no idea where we were going or if he was going to drop me.

It wasn't too long but it felt like a while.
"Ok, keep them closed I'm going to put you down" he said.
"Ok" I replied. I then felt my feet touch the ground , I let go and I stood up properly.
"Ok, you can open them now" he said and I opened my eyes. The first thing I noticed was the amount of torches stuck into the ground, then the fences that surrounded us and lastly the gazebo with leaves covering the roof. "The light will keep them from spawning inside the fence, and they can't get past the fence, so you can relax, you're safe" I couldn't help but smile up at him,
"Thank you" I said and he took my hand leading me into the gazebo.
"Do you like it?" He asked,
"I love it" I said looking around, I sat down on the carpet that was placed in the middle.
"For dinner we have steak and potatos" Wilbur said sitting down in front of me and pulling out dinner. We both happily ate in a peaceful silence. "Thank you" Wilbur said breaking the silence.
"For?" I asked.
"Helping with L'manberg. It's been really helpful and-"
"It's fine, really I liked helping" I smiled and he smiled back.
"Thirsty?" He asked,
"Yeah but I ca..." i stopped mid word seeing him pull out a glass bottle of milk.
"I know" he replied holding it out to me. I gratefully took it and drank some. When I put the bottle down I saw Wilbur standing up and holding his hand out to me. I tilted my head a little as I took his hand and he pulled me up. "Tommy let me borrow this" he said holding up a disc.
"Are you asking me to dance?" I asked,
"That's exactly what I'm asking" he replied. He put the disc into the jukebox before wrapping one arm around my waist. My heart fluttered as I looked up at him and he looked down at me, both of us smiling. I followed his lead which was mostly just swaying back and forth. I rested my head against his chest, Even when the song had ended we stood swaying back and forth. His hand left my waist and went to my cheek, he tilted my head up to look at him. He smiled warmly at me before slowly leaning in. His lips met mine and it felt like a swarm of bees had spawned in my stomach. It was a sweet lingering kiss that lasted a few moments before he pulled back just a little. I couldn't help but smile. Wilbur chuckled, "you're really red" he teased. A giggle left my lips as I buried my face in his chest.
"Bully" I mumbled and he just laughed holding me a little tighter.
"I'm sorry" he said, some laughter still in his voice as he pressed a kiss into the top of my head.
