I think I sat there looking at the crown for at least a good hour. Ok here we go. I got up and stood in front of the mirror. I looked at myself one last time before taking a breath, closing my eyes and placing the crown on my head. I let out a cry as it felt like my bones were being broken and fused back together, I clutched onto my head as a sharp stabbing pain started to form there. I was left kneeling on the floor panting as the pain began to subside. I put my hands on the ground. One black and one white. I raised my head and looked in the mirror. My once blonde hair now split down the middle, The split didn't end there as it extended down the middle of my body. My eyes now one a vibrant blue and the other vibrant magenta. Two horns had sprouted from my head, I guess that's what the pain in my head was. I saw something move behind me and turned to see a tail. I had a tail now. It had a fluffy end, one side black and the other white. I stood up and found myself stumbling a bit, I reached out to grab onto my bed post and completely missed and ended up falling back to the floor whacking my back against the bed frame.

I winced as I leant forward and rubbed my now sore back. I pulled myself up onto the bed and realised one of my problems. My legs now resembled that of a dogs, at least structure wise. No longer plantigrade but instead digitigrade. I slowly stood up taking a moment to adjust to the new legs. I used the walls for balance as I walked back and forth in my room getting used to my new strides. Soon I was fine without the walls and I decided to face the stairs, I was certainly taking advantage of the walls this time as I took my time going down the stairs. I reached the bottom and saw Dream on the couch giving me a smile.

"So you did it" he said standing up.
"Yeah" I said with a small laugh and he walked over, ok I have certainly grown a bit. Whereas before the top of my head barely reached his shoulder, my chin was at his shoulder.
"It's certainly different" he said, "not in a bad way, at least I think anyway"
"Thanks" I gave him a small smile.

The next two weeks I stayed inside the castle walls, figuring out my way around my new self. Dream had been helping a lot, reteaching me what he had before. There was a lot of bumps and bruises as he held back less and less the more we trained. Soon I was back to where I was before. Multiple times Tubbo had come past to get me to come out and do stuff but Dream sent him away. I was worried about his reaction honestly, what if he was scared? What if he never wanted to see me again? I always felt bad.

I was sitting on the couch when there was a knock at the door, Dream had gone to see George so it was just me. I walked over to the door,
"Hello?" I called.
"Kiara!" Tubbo's voice came from the other side. "Did you want to come hang out? I mean if your feeling better, Dream said you havent been feeling yourself" He asked.
"N-not right now Tubbo, sorry, I'm just not feeling up to it" I replied leaning against the door.
"Oh, okay" he said sounding sad which only made the pit grow in my stomach. "We miss you... including Tommy not that he would admit it" I let out a small laugh. "Oh and this is from Wilbur" I felt something hit my foot, a letter. "I'll leave you alone"
"Wait Tubbo" I reached out towards the door handle but stopped before my fingers could graze the knob.
"Yeah?" He said a little excitedly.
"Can you stay? And we just talk... through the door" I asked.
"Yeah we can do that" he said.
"Thanks Tubbo" I smiled, not that he could see. I sat down against the door, Wilburs letter in my hand. "So... What have I missed?" I asked.
Tubbo told me stories of the adventures they had gotten up to whilst I had locked myself away. I read the letter as Tubbo spoke. I had to grab a towel as my eyes started to water, now that I wasn't appearing as human my tears stung, which really sucked. I had told Tubbo to wait as I grabbed some paper and a quill, I needed to reply to Wilbur. I was vague as I told him that personal things were going on and I would let him know when I'm ready to see him, and I reassured a lot that none of this was his fault, just bad timing. I gave the letter to Tubbo and it looked like it was going to rain so he left.
