Chapter 5: I Hate Everything About Chloe

I sat there in bed, then looked over and grabbed the ocarina. I pressed it to my lips, and blew. My fingers danced all around the holes. I smiled in satisfaction as I saw Tapion come in.

"Hey, you kicked Chloe out?" He asked confused.

"She killed you!" I blurted.

"She what..?" He asked looking at his hands, then to me confused.

"It was a nightmare." I said, then thought over the dream.

"She's not a bad person. Why do you hate her? Trunks loves her." Tapion said and I rolled my eyes.

"He thinks he does! She's fooled you all! But not me! I may only be six but I'm going to stop this!" I said fast.

I heard a knock on the door and then Trunks and Chloe walked in.

"Did I say to come in?!" I snapped.

"Can we come in?" Trunks asked.

"No! Not with her." I snapped and Tapion brushed my hair backs and walked out.

"No.. Tapion..?" I silently begged him to stay, but he just turned and smiled before leaving.

Chloe sat at the end of my bed and Trunks left the room, shutting the door. I heard him lock it... Why'd he lock it. I frantically jumped to my feet and put my ear up to the door.

"Trunks?!" I called desperately for him.

"Yes?" He asked cooly.

"Why'd you lock me in here with her?!"

"You're going to fix your issues and Tapion and I will wait out here."

"Open this fricken door, now!" I screamed and starting pounding in the door.

I heard Trunks laughing and I could feel Chloe's stare on me intensively. Suddenly, I wasn't in control anymore. I felt my body turn against me, and force me over to my bed and to sit. My body burned as I fought the urge but nothing worked so I just screamed. Chloe winked at me.

"One of our powers." She whispered.

"You're crazy! Just flat out crazy!!" I screamed at her and threw myself into the wall over and over again.

"What're you doing?!" She asked and stood up.

I smashed my head into the wall a few more times,"Anything to get away from you!" I screamed and before I hit again my body froze and was still as stone.

"Let go." I said and waited for her to let me move but she didn't.

"That's it! I can't take it!" I screamed!

Chloe's POV

I rolled my eyes,"You act like I'm killing you."

"You practically are!" She said, but I held her in place by simply feeling into her brain waves.

"Come outside." I said and she shook her head so I forced her onto the balcony.

"Why do you hate me?" I asked.

"Your evil! You threaten to kill Tapion! You practically brainwashed Trunks! Why wouldn't I hate you?!" She yelled.

I laughed,"Mind control. I'm mind controlling him, or, I didn't until after you tried to kill me. He doesn't know and it doesn't hurt him." I explained.

"Why?"

"Because I need your help."

"What?!"

"He's coming for us." I stated simply.

"He?!"

"The obelisk."

"Why us?"

"I'm the last of my kind, and your the last female saiyan. He wants us slaves." She looked horrified.

"But my family... Tapion.."

"He'd dispose of them all to have us."

"So you're not the bad guy?" She asked cautiously.

"Well, I was. Before I came, but now I need you, so I can't be."

"I'm sorry..."

"It's okay." I said and she hugged me.

I tensed and lifted my arms up, then I started to pat her on the back, eventually I smoothed down her hair and hugged her back. She pulled away and smiled at me.

"Do we warn them?"

"No! He'll kill them first!" I said, shocked.

"Oh! You'd never kill Tapion! You threatened me with that because if I told, then he'd kill Tapion!" She figured out and I nodded.

"This is our secret now, okay?" I said and she nodded.

"What secret?" Trunks asked coming out.

"Nothing, bro. Stay outta my business. I can have secrets with my friends you know!" She smarted off and I giggled some and smiled at Trunks.

She's a good hider, and I knew I could trust her, seeming she's wanted as well.

"Now how about that date?" Trunks asked me and I happily linked to his arm.

"Of course!" I said.

"Why don't you ever take me on whatever this date it, Tapion?" I heard Midnight complain from behind.

"It's for people who are in love to get to know each other better..." Tapion said, laughing.

I took my control off of Trunks when I heard that. I want I know he loves me for me, not because I controlled him.

Midnight ran and opened the door for us, letting us out. She smiled to me.

"Good luck, love-birds!" She mocked and closed the door.

I got in the car in the passenger seat and we drove to Hometown Buffet.
