"You're kidding!" Janet laughed, seated beside you on the sofa as the hired decorators moved about the house quietly, getting the Christmas decorations organized for the party that was to be held, later that evening.

As much as you wanted to help, you couldn't - and that was because your beloved husband had made sure you took everything easy, even if you didn't yet need to.

You were only fourteen weeks along in your pregnancy, and you were barely showing - yet Michael never put the argument to rest until he had gotten his way, which was for you to swear you wouldn't participate in any unnecessary physical activity. It certainly didn't mean that you couldn't do the things you wanted to do - it just meant that you'd had a certain limit as to how much you could immerse yourself into the respective activities.

It all came from a good place, in Michael's heart, and the only reason you entertained his insistence was because you loved him. If easing his worries, for your health, was as simple as refraining from an overindulgence in physical activity, you were willing to oblige - even if it got a little annoying from time to time.

The Christmas Season had always been something you thoroughly enjoyed, because you adored the hype that accompanied the festive period. You loved being active with decorating and with the Christmas shopping you always did - but now that you were expecting, you hadn't been able to be as vigorously involved as before.
