I was aroused by another rising and falling motion, except this time it was lighter and came with the sound of whistle-like breathing. Twitching my eyes open to the noon light, I found myself sprawled on top of the brunet boy as he slept with a whistle-snore. Heat rose to my face, realizing that he was actually comfy to lay on, and I pushed myself off, landing with a grunt on my back.

Though the brunet was asleep, the green-headed hero was off to the side, calling who I assumed to be his colleagues.

"W-what?! That's crazy! We didn't do anything. They just started shooting at us-....okay...will do." He hung up the phone and immediately opened the hardware of the phone, pulling out the GPS. I got curious, walking up to him and placing my hand on his shoulder. He yelped and turned, calming down after seeing me. "Oh, it's just you. What's up?"

"Um, what are you doing with your phone?" I inquired.

He glanced at it, then threw the GPS chip on the ground, crushing it under his shoe. "I just ended a call with my friends back at the hero headquarters in downtown Otheon. I'm all over the news! Claiming that I murdered twelve people! They advised me to take out the GPS in my cell phone and destroy it, just in case the police tagged onto it." He explained.

I was shocked. "Wait, all of those police agents and vehicles were all there to get you?!"

"Well, I'm not sure about that-" Cutting him off I swung a red glowing ring and shoved it to his neck. "Wa!?"

"I can't believe you! I'm just on a simple vacation. I don't even live here. I live in freaking America and now I'm probably suspect as your accomplice, and maybe him too!" I screamed, pointing to the sleeping boy and threatening him further with the ring getting hotter as did my anger.

"Wait for a second, please! I didn't mean to get any of you wrapped up in this. I didn't even know what was happening until just now. All I did, and this is the honest truth which both of you can testify to, was trying to save lives. That's what we as heroes are called to do. To save those in need. Please, I give you my word, I knew nothing of this and if I did, I wouldn't have involved the two of you!" He said, a sweat breaking across his forehead.

I glared at him for a moment, taking in his reasoning. I sighed, finding no fault in it, and took away my ring, placing it back upon my head where it once was invisible, hovering above it like a halo. It persisted to keep its red color to it but was a lighter shade than before. I turned away from the hero, almost bumping into the brunet boy, his tattered trench coat and clothes still damp.

"Oh, sorry if was intruding on this conversation you two were having, but I'd have to agree with the girl." He inhaled, then let everything out. "YOU SUPPOSEDLY MURDERED TWELVE PEOPLE AND WE ARE YOUR ACCOMPLICES!? I THOUGHT YOU WERE SOME KIND OF HERO!?"

The green-headed hero only looked at his feet in dismay. "I'm sorry, again, for involving you two in this mess. I honestly don't know why they started shooting us, other than the false claim that's been given out to the press. I wish I knew what to do or what to say, but I don't have anything."

The brunet fell back, dazed again, contemplating life. "Oh great! It's all over. Goodbye life! I've sunk deeper than rock bottom. And to think I was already at rock bottom. Wait, is that even possible? This is all your fault! You dragged me and her into this mess!" His little pink bird popped out of his surprisingly dry hair, chirping angrily at the hero. "So fix it! That's what heroes do, right!?" He demanded, as well as the bird as it chirped in the hero's face.

The hero hesitated for a moment, then spoke. "The police fired on us without asking any questions, and then we were attacked by a villain. That tells me that they don't care if we end up dead or alive. I would suspect, that they're not really after us."
