The steam began to clear.......

"Move! Everyone!" Hange screamed as you all fled from the colossals outstretched hand. Hooking your gear to the side of the walls

"Oh no! It's got Ymir!"

Looking up you caught site of Bertholdt throwing Ymir and another soldier into his titan's mouth. "Shit! She's not the only one!"

Hange gritted her teeth before ordering you all to attack. "Prepare to attack! The colossal doesn't walk away from this! It's a threat to all mankind!"

You all followed Hange after she shot herself upwards. "Swarm and terminate!" You all shot up along side the colossals arms. You passed by his face and it seemed as the world slowed as he followed you with his eyes.

"You big son of a bitch! Size is all your slow ass has! Your dead!"

Hange's voice brought you out of your daze. " Y/N! He's wide open! Slice the nape!"

You and everyone else began to sworn around the colossals nape. You weren't but a few feet away. You drew back your blades ready to make the cut.

Suddenly skin boiling steam hit you. The force unhooking your gear and making you all fall back. Pushing you all back to the top of the wall.

Mike was lucky enough to land on his feet. He caught you before your body could hit the ground.

"I got you beautiful." He put you down and you mumbled a small "thanks". His finger tips ran down from your cheek to your neck. Bright red burns were forming. You and a couple others had been too close and suffered first degree burns.

"Water! We need water!"

Hange gasped. "He's vanishing!"

Armin walked past you three closer to the colossal. " No, something different! Last time he disappeared it was more or less instantaneous. He's maintaining his form to emit heat. He's trying to protect himself." Armin shot his hooks twords Bertholdt but they shot back once they got withing a foot of his titan body. "As long as he generates steam our rigs are useless." He looked twords you, Hange and Mike with defeated eyes. "What do we do?"

Mike spoke up before Hange could answer "Now? Nothing, except wait."

Hange nodded. " Squad 3 and 4 take position behind the target! Squad 2 stay put! He can only pretend to be a furnace for so long. When he decides to come out we'll rush the big bastard! I want you to forget about taking them alive, destroy them! No second thoughts!" Hange turned to a wide eyed Armin. "You have a bright, observant mind. You're coming with us. Squad one! look alive! We got a date with the armored Titan!"

You and Mike, along with a few other soldier's followed Hange and Armin. You all hooked yourselves to the side of the wall. There you witnessed Eren being beaten by Reiner's armored Titan.

"Come on Yeager! Remember your combat training!"

"Lieutenant Y/N. Eren's never been able to beat Reiner in hand to hand combat. Not once in training. I think he's trying to weaken him so it'll be easier to take him."

"Damn it... Armin, can you convince him to get his ass closer to the wall?"

"Yes Ma'am!"

Armin lowered himself as close as he could in hopes that Eren would be able to hear his yelling " Eren! Back down! You can't win in a fist fight. Make a break for the wall! Please Eren listen!"

Eren's Titan let out a loud roar before charging towards the armored. "Oh no, he's blinded by rage!"

The armored Titan began to swing at Erem. But before fist met face Eren was able to dodge it. Ducking down and trapping the armored from underneath his left armpit. He was able to lift the armored up and flipped him onto his back. This caused both of them to land on the ground giving Eren the chance to pin him down. As Eren raised his fist for a punch, the armor was able to push him off. While rolling Eren trapped Reiner's head in between his legs and begin squeezing. This caused some of the armor to crack. Reiner tried to break free but Eren was able to kick him back down. Causing the ground to split and trees to fly. Eren's Titan sat up keeping the armor's head down with his legs and body weight. He began pulling on the armored Titans arm and had torn it off before he threw it to the side.

Armin and Mikasa were able to get closer to Eren. Again  trying to warn him to get closer to the wall because they were planning to abduct him. Escape was the best option for him at the moment. They tried to make him see this before being ordered to retreat back to the wall. They were in luck that Eren was in control of his Titan and seemed to understand them. Once they reach the wall a gust of wind blinded everyone momentarily before Eren could be seen standing next to everyone, hand on the wall facing Reiner.

Hange maneuvered over to Eren and landed on his shoulder. She stepped closer to his ear. "Eren if we're going to get you out of here you've got to buy us some time. Stop Reiner in his tracks. Think you can damaged his legs with another joint hold? Our blades are useless against him. He's too strong but not bright. We can outsmart him." Eren's Titan turned it's head twords Hange and let out a rough "Mhmm" before nodding. You and Mike could see the pink dusted on her cheeks while she let out a "Oohooooo" almost sounding like a surprised owl. "You got this Eren!"

This was short lived as you were all going back into position on the wall. Reiner broke the armor off his titan's legs and charged twords Eren. Again they were on the ground but Eren was able to put him in another hold.

"Mike! Cut the armored Titan legs! The back of the knees!" In the blink of an eye Mike was already behind Reiner making the cut. Before landing next to you and Hange.

"Nice cut babe!" Mike looked down to hide the blush creeping up on his face from your praise.

The armored slammed to the ground giving Eren a better hold on him. You all could see pieces of the armor cracking and flying up towards you.

"You got this Eren!"

"Rip the traders head off!"

You all watched with hopeful eyes. Eren was winning this! This fight was his. Until.....

The armored slammed his hands down and grabbed the earth. Reiner began dragging Eren along side the walls.

"What the hell is he doing?"

Reiner's armor stopped just a few feet away from where you all were positioned on the wall. He slowly lifted up his head and let out a loud roar.

Hange gasped. "Everyone be on the lookout! He's calling for back up!"

"No visual on any oncoming Titans yet! Squad leader Mike do you smell anything?"

Mike began to sniff the air. "No, No new smells! It's still clear"

You gritted your teeth. "Come on Yeager! His heads almost off! Just a little more!"

A voice caught all your attention "Above you! Look out!"

It was too late. You all looked up to see the colossal barreling down the wall, mouth agape towards Eren and Reiner.

Blinding light and heat blurred your vision. You felt your body being brutally slammed to the wall by the steam. A sharp pain and warm feeling on the back of your head left everything spinning. Your skin already burning from the first blast was burned even more, the pain was unbearable. It was hard for you to think straight you didn't even try to attach your gear back to the wall to keep you from flying up. Suddenly you felt a pair of arms catch you. Your vision was still blurry and you began going in and out of consciousness but you noticed dirty blonde hair.

"I got you N/N. Your safe now baby."

Was the last thing you heard before everything went black.....
