The following morning you felt a bit better. You admitted you had gotten a little too emotional.

Mike was hesitant on leaving you that morning but you assured him you were fine. It was just a lot to take in for one day. All you needed was rest and so that's what you did.

Until the clock hit 10am. Erwin eagerly waited on the other side of the door. Desperate to see how the Marleyan military ran from the inside. To say he was beyond excited was an understatement.

When you opened the door you nearly snorted. Erwin was dressed in a long white coat similar to yours. He had on gray pants and a light gray collared shirt. What made you almost snort were the back up goggles that clearly belonged to Hange.

"Did you find the cure for big eyebrowed-itus?"

Erwin gave you a deadpanned look. "Ha-ha." He took the goggles off. He couldn't see through them anyways. "We thought it would be more believable."

You shook your head and smiled. "You're my assistant. As long as you have a badge that says so, you'll be fine."

That's when you noticed the badge that was clipped to his right pocket. "E. Hudson. Assistant/ medical RN."

Erwin smiled and nodded. "Edwin Hudson to be exact."

This time you laughed. "That hairy bastard couldn't even think of a good name."

Erwin smiled once again. He was happy to see you in a better mood. "It's better than Mrs. Zeke Yeager."

You gave him a dead panned look and clicked your tongue.

That shut you up....

***Mike's POV***

Still worried about you he couldn't really focus on the meeting. You said you were fine but he heard you throwing up early this morning.

Mike finally broke out of his daze when he noticed the room got silent. Magath let out a long sigh.

"Though we planned on having all of you join the battle in the Middle East. An anonymous tip came in that Paradis spies have been spotted in Marley--"

' The devil works hard but Zeke Yeager works harder.. ' Mike thought as Magath continued.

"We will draw back your leave but only for a few days. The higher ups believe they are going to set off a surprise attack on us. Meaning half of you will stay here and half will go to battle."

Porco scoffed. "With all due respect sir. We have more Titans on our side. We can take them if they even try to do anything."

Magath hummed. "That I don't doubt Galliard. But this is a safety precaution, You along with Reiner will be staying here in Marley for back up. Along with another secret weapon. Zacharias, Yeager, and Finger will be sent to the Middle East. "

' Fuck! '

Mike mentally groaned. A few days wasn't enough time for Erwin's original plan... They would have to go with plan B and get it done fast.

Again his thoughts were interrupted when Reiner spoke up. "What is this secret weapon Sir.? If you can tell us."

Magath shook his head. "That's for only myself and the higher ups to know."
