Beautiful, wonderful,
powerful, true
Because that's what the Gospel
Means to me
It's the wonderful story
Of Christ hung on a tree
Of Jesus Christ
Dying for me
Then rising again
And setting man free
Of truth and power
And unending love
Beautiful and sad
And pure like a dove
I hope that's the gospel
According to you
Because this is Gods word
And I know it is true.
