Extreme Chinese Cuisine
Round about the country go
Finding foods that you don't know
Like deep fried spiders with gooey guts Or boiled eggs of almost hatched ducks Add silk worm pupae to the lot
A mess of foods that China's got
Double, double toil and trouble
Sunlight burn and brain get fuddled
Put some crickets on a stick
Some of these foods could make you sick
Try the octopus, its very fresh
It still moves when you eat its flesh
Try some rats baked to perfection
Then eat 3 scorpions in quick succession
For a pain of powerful trouble
While your stomach boils and bubbles
Double, double toil and trouble
Sunburn burn and stomach rumble
Why not try a pickled snake
This is china, there's no steak
So may as well eat a ducks head
Or just a rotten egg instead
You could also eat a flying lizard
Or a dung beetle that's been withered
To go further, eat unborn mice
Fried so perfectly with white rice
You could also eat a monkey's brain
But only to avoid being mundane
Because why else would you go to the trouble
To have your stomach churn and tumble
Double double toil and trouble
Food in China, what a struggle!
I wrote this for school as a parody for the spell in Macbeth. I thought is was funny, so I figured you might get a kick out of it.
