"wow five classes together" I voice said taking me away from my book. I looked up and saw Emmett standing next to my desk with his backpack slung on one shoulder. I looked up and smiled.
"hay... Emmett right?"

"yup.. We didn't get talk much yesterday" he said setting down next To me. "well I don't talk that much anyway" I said staring back at my book.

"what you reading" I lifted the book of the dest and showed him the cover.

"IT... Movies better" Emmett said. He's really trying to break the ice, but why? I cleared my throat. "the movie leaves a lot out that should be in the movie" I spoke.

"I do mainly like movies though, IT is just an exception" I said putting my book mark in my book which was an old Pokémon card. I slid the book to the conner of the desk and looked at him. He looked at me and smiled showing his adorable dimples. I tried so hard not to blush. Everything about him seemed adorable and perfect. The only way I could describe him is this way: his massive form and Pale skin remaineds me of an innocent polar bear cub. He didn't look like he had any agrestion to him. His gold eyes were probably my favorite part of him. I was never up front an personal with a vampire so anyone in their right mind that wasn't part of the supernatural world would think his eyes were pulled straight out of a fantasy book.

"so you like movies, what kind?" he asked cross his arms on the table giving me his full attention. I've never had that before. Anxiety built up as I answered. The fact that all the attention was on me was an unnatural feeling.

"mostly horror I like marvel too" I said picking at the black nail polish on my nails. "I like learning about how they were made.. Especially the older ones"

he smiled and nodded. "so like Hitchcock? John carpenter?"

"definitely Hitchcock.. His best movie was Birds in my opinion, I love psycho but it's too over rated." I said slowly getting more comfortable with him.

"so.. How you like it here? Word around here is that you and your cousin just moved here"

"umm I've lived here for six months um I didn't show up for school for personal reasons but I like it here" I said getting nervous again.

"the rainy atmosphere is great for filling" I said trying to change the subject of why I live here. Emmett tilted his head to the side questioning me. Before I could explain anything further Mr. Rogers called on my name making my chest tightened. I looked at him with a sigh.

"miss. Swan you seem very eager today why don't you go first"

"huh?" I asked looking him dead in the eyes. "your poem, did you bring one?" he asked. Sometimes I really hate English class. "umm yes I did"

"why don't you get up here a read it" he said setting down at his desk then leaning back in his chair. I sighed and grabbed a piece of folded up note book paper that was nestled between the front cover and the first page of my Stephen King Book. I stood up in front of the class and read the poem of my choice. I hated how everyone's were on me.

"If only we could see the splendour of the land
To which our loved ones are called from you and me
We'd understand
If only we could hear the welcome they receive
From old familiar voices all so dear
We would not grieve
If only we could know the reason why they went
We'd smile and wipe away the tears that flow
And wait content."

I ended and looked up at everyone hesitantly. They all looked like they were possessing everything as it stayed silent. I looked over at Emmett and he had s solum look with a mixture of questions. Mr. Rogers scoff brought me back to reality.

" wow that was... Wow" he stopped and some of the people in the audience started to chuckle. "that was a really depressing way to start off the class.. Is that all or are gonna keep being so glum" I snapped my head towards the English teacher to say something but someone beat me to it.

"asshole" I looked and it was Emmett's voice. Everyone snapped their heads over to the back where Emmett was. His blond sister and her boyfriend both had their gold eyes bugged out.

"Mr. Cullen? Did you say something" Mr. Rogers said in almost threatening way. Like he was testing him. Emmett looked up from his notebook and let his pencil tip out of his humongous palm.

"I said awesome, what Shelby read was awesome... Don't you think so.. Mr. Rogers" him said giving him a death glare and I swear I saw his gold eyes turned a deadly black. I quickly moved back to my spot next to him and crumble up the piece of paper that had the poem. It rolled to the edge of the table but a pale hand cought it. Emmett unraveled the paper ball and flattened out the wrinkles.

"you should keep it... It was a good one never heard anything like that before" I sighed and slipped it from his hand gently then put it in my notebook.

"hay that was cool and Rogers is an asshole" a voice said behind me. I turned in my chair and saw a guy with percing gold eyes that strangely had a hint of blue to it and jet black hair. "I'm Damon by the way" he said leaning his chair on to the two front legs and reached his arm a crossed the table. I excepted his hand shake with a smiled.

"what's your name cutie?" the blond asked. "Shelby and your Rosalie right?" she nodded with a kind smile.

"so has he drove you crazy yet?" Damon said pointing to Emmett. I slightly smiled and shook my head no.

"salvatore and Hale please stop talking with Cullen and Swan" Mr. Rogers interrupted. The four of us rolled our eyes as moved my body so I was facing the front of the class.

"want to come with us to study hall?" Emmett whispered to me. "if it's not braking any by laws" he knew what I meant but he didn't make a big deal.

"sometimes it's fun braking the rules."he said with a smirk.

"all fun and games in till someone gets hurt " I mumbled then moved my eyes to the lesson on the white board.
