CHAPTER 2: FRIENDS AGAIN

My master had asked me if I wanted to come greet Ahsoka and Anakin on the platform, but I said no, to which I stayed rooming around the cruiser.
"Mads!" I was walking around, when the sound of a familiar voice saying my name made me turn around, "Mads!" as soon as I turn around a pair of arms wrap around me, not knowing what to do I keep my arms by my side.
"Oh! the Maker, it's been months since I last seen you" Ahsoka says separating herself from me, and I keep my face normal, "I missed you, going around on missions with Anakin is exciting, but I missed seeing my best friend"
When she stops talking, I let out a small sigh and my gaze goes to the floor, "What's wrong, Mads?" she asks me, "I thought you were mad at me"
"What I said to you the last time we were together... I.. how c-can" the words starts coming out of my mouth, making no sense, however, Ahsoka grabbed my arm, and lightly pushed me to a room, "What happened that day, wasn't you Maddie. I don't care what you said that day, because I don't believe it was you, so I forgive you, and I want my best friends back" she says as we sit on the bed.
"I'm so sorry" I say and she pulls me into a hug, to which this time I do return, "It's not your fault, I know you didn't meant it"
After her words we stay a bit on silence, me laying my head on her shoulder while she tells me all the missions she had, "Have you been practicing your lightsaber skills?" she asks and I raise my head.
