I walked in my room completely exhausted. I collapsed on my bed looking up my ceiling.
It had been a long day. I hear a knock on my door and it opening I see my mom at my door way
"Hey Karter I'm proud of you, I know just going back into everything is hard especially after everything but I know it's going to get better. I love you" my she says in a very calm tone. I haven't heard her talk like that a long time. Especially with me.
"Thanks mom I love you too." I say lifting my head up.
She blows me a kiss and closes my door.
I know she's only acting like this because she thinks I passed my drug test. She thinks I've changed. I guess Ethan was really clean.
Ethan. What is with him. He's very confusing. I would be lying if I didn't say I didn't find him attractive. But what is he trying to do. He knows I'm not sober. Hell he barely even knows me.
Maybe that's it he doesn't know me yet.
