"This is never going to work." I groaned angrily, as I lean against the wall. "Sirius will be here, y/n. Just breathe." Remus and Tonks had been staying with me as I had a breakdown and pretty much lost it when Sirius went to Azkaban and I never saw him ever again. It was hell, being alone and I hadn't coped very well, but I was finally going to see the man that I loved again, I could finally tell him. It had been so many years, I honestly didn't know what to expect anymore. "Just relax. You're okay." I sat down on the steps, as Harry came up to see me. "Hey." I smiled, "How is he?" I asked, "Better than the first time we met, he's settled in well." I nodded, as I play with my hands, nervously. "He talks about you quite a lot, it's annoying." He laughed, as I rolled my eyes. "It's been so long, I honestly don't remember." I bite my lip. "He's downstairs, when you're ready." I nodded, "Thanks, Harry." I tie my hair back, before I slowly went downstairs. "Holy shit." I couldn't believe how different he looked, he was fucking sexy. I couldn't look away. "Y/n s/n. Look at you." He smiled, I hugged him tightly as he held me in his arms. "I've missed you so much, Sirius." I whispered, as he leaned into my shoulder. "I've missed you more." He held onto the back of my head as I take a breath. I couldn't of loved him even more in that moment, it just felt perfect. I slowly pulled away, as he smiled at me. "I just can't believe you're back. It's crazy."

"I promised, didn't I?" He nudged my shoulder, as I look at him, he made my heart stop. He was absolutely perfect. "Are you okay, darling?" I smiled, "Yeah, of course I am." I kiss his cheek, "I'll be back." I leave the room, as I went outside. What the hell was I thinking? Being in love was scaring me to death, not only that, he was an older guy and it just wouldn't work. "Reality hit a bit harder than you thought, didn't it?" I look over, Tonks smiled a little. "How the hell do I do it, Tonks? He's fucking amazing. And I still have the same love I have for him, but- it scares me. How real it feels, I've dreamt of this for years.. but now, it's happening and it's freaked me out." She sighed. "You know that man is completely in love with you, right? And you love him. Look at me and Remus. We made it work, didn't we?" She was right, they'd been apart for a long time before and they always came back to each other. "I know, I know you're right." She watched me, "Take a leap of faith. Believe me, you are meant to be together. And it works. It always works." She hugged me, I held onto her. "Thanks, Tonks." She headed back inside, as I went for a walk outside. I just needed some air, I had to think about this. I knew this was what I wanted, but I had to be sure. I had to be certain that this would be forever, that I'd stick with him through everything. "Hey." I look up, "Hi, Sirius." He came and sat beside me, as I smiled gently. "Are you sure you're okay? Do you need to talk?" I had to tell him, didn't I? I'd waited fifteen years for this. "I'm in love with you, Sirius."

"I'm sorry, what?" He seemed a bit taken aback, as I looked away, my stomach dropped. I knew that this would be a bad idea, but I couldn't hide how I felt, I knew he was my forever. "When you went away, it broke my heart. You swore to me that you wouldn't and you did, you crushed me, Sirius. I waited fifteen years, you have to know how I feel, even if you don't feel the same way. You have to know." He sighed deeply, "You have no idea how long I've waited for you to tell me that. My god." He grabbed my face, kissing me deeply as I wrap my arms around his neck. I pull away softly, as I watch his eyes. "You love me?" He smiled. "How could I not? I've waited fifteen years for you, sweetheart. I'm never letting you out of my sight ever again." I felt the tears coming, as he held me tightly, I squeeze him gently as I lean into his shoulder. "I love you, Sirius." I admitted. "I love you too, y/n. More than anything in this world. Finally, you're mine."
