As I headed back to the house, I knew that I couldn't really avoid Sirius. He was living with us now, I'd always had a thing for him, but we were just friendly if anything else, I had a feeling Harry knew, but he was a lot older than me and it never would work. "I'm back!" I called out, as I shut the door. I put my coat on the hook by the door as I headed upstairs to my room. "Shit, sorry." I smacked into someone, I turn and see Sirius. "No worries, love." God, he was so hot, it was almost unbearable to be near him. He went back downstairs, as I take a deep breath. He was Harry's closest family, he was all he had. I almost didn't want to say anything, but I couldn't live here if it meant I had to hide these feelings for the rest of my life. I shut the door, as I sat down on the bed. "Hey." Hermione walked out of the bathroom. "Hey, what's up?" I take off my boots, as she sat next to me. "You seem different." I frowned, "Do I?" I laughed, "Yeah, you have this glow to you. Do you have a crush on someone?" Did she know?! "Harry told you, didn't he?" Her face. She knew. "Listen, I think it's fine. I don't have a problem with it, you love who you love." I shake my head, "He doesn't know, I'm not actually going to go and tell him. By the way, I think I love you. Imagine? I'd be laughed out of the house." She sighed, "It isn't a bad thing, you know. Think how happy you'll be if you just tell him the truth?"

"I can't. He can never know, because if I actually admit to myself that I could possibly love him, I think it'll break me." I look outside the window, Sirius was sat by the tree, he was drinking coffee and reading. He looked up at me, we both just kind of stared for a moment. I snap out of it, before I turn back to her. "I need some air." I pull on my shoes, before grabbing my jacket and going outside. I felt like I couldn't breathe, I was terrified. I shouldn't of gone back to the woods, but I wasn't thinking. I heard a branch snap behind me, I froze as it was already starting to get dark. "You shouldn't be out here alone." I turn, as Sirius watched me. "So why are you?" He smirked, "You got me there. Remember, I'm a werewolf. I'm more than capable of looking after myself. I can't say the same for you." I glared, "Fuck you, Sirius." I stand back, as I trip on something stuck in the dirt and I fell onto my back. "Looks like you have it covered." He watched me, as I sat up slightly. "Is this why you're here? To mock me?" I try and stand, but there was such a crushing pressure in my ankle, I let out a pained cry. "What is it? Tell me." Suddenly, he cared. Typical Sirius black. "I'm fine, I think I twisted my ankle." I held onto the side of the tree, "This is why you should of stayed in the house." I rolled my eyes, "Shut up." I take a breath, when I heard footsteps in the distance. "Don't move from this spot." He walked in front of me, when I saw Peter Pettigrew emerge from the darkness.

"What are you doing here?" He glared, he looked at me. "A young, precious human." I almost didn't know what to say, it was freaky. "You touch her, I'll break your legs." He growled, as I felt my heart jump. Wow. "Y/n!" I heard Remus calling for me, "I should go and see what dad wants." I flinched, as I manage to walk back toward the house. "There you are, where have you been?" He hugged me, as I lean into him. "I'm okay, Sirius and Peter are arguing again." He sighed, "Not to worry, darling. How about you get inside and I'll make us some hot cocoa?" I felt a shooting pain through my foot, as I try and stand on it, I almost fell onto the steps. Remus grabbed me, as he pulled me up. "C'mere, I've got you." He picked me up, as he carried me back into the house. "I shouldn't of gone into the woods." He bandaged my foot up, as he looked at me. "Weren't you with Sirius?" I look down, "He followed me." He smiled a bit, "I like to think that I'm a father figure to you, y/n. So, as your father.. I need to ask you a very important question." I nodded, "What's that?" I felt like I could barely breathe, "Are you in love with Sirius?" I lean back in the chair, "Why do you want to know?" I felt weird talking to him about his best friend. "Sirius is one of closest friends, y/n. If your heart is betrothed to him, I can't stop you. You have my blessing." I look at my hands, "He doesn't even know that I'm in love with him." He looked behind me, "He does now." He stood up, as he walked into the other room.

"Shit." I whispered, as I look back. Sirius sat beside me, as he grabbed my hand. "Why didn't you come and talk to me?" I take a breath. "It's not exactly my style, Black." He gently kissed my forehead, "I'll always be falling for you, y/n." He smiled, as I look at him. "I love you."
