-Akaashi's pov-
Akaashi couldn't believe it. "Wait, Bokuto, are you saying that you're gay too?" Akaashi was sure that's what Bokuto was trying to tell him. But getting his hopes up wouldn't do anyone any good.
"Yep, I've known that about myself for years." Bokuto told this to Akaashi so easily. But Akaashi still wasn't understanding how this was happening.
"I didn't want to tell you right out of the gate, because I didn't want it to be weird between us. But now that I know you won't judge me, I'm not going to keep it from you." Bokuto added when Akaashi didn't respond.
"I would never judge you for something like that Bokuto, I'm Bi, not gay for the record..." Akaashi nuzzled himself further into Bokuto. Akaashi breathed through his nose and smelt a comforting smell. It was the smell of good cologne. It must be the one Bokuto sprayed on earlier. Akaashi wasn't being creepy, but he kept chasing that smell as he stood there with his friend.
"Hey, why don't we go hangout with your new friends. You can hug me over there too, don't worry." Bokuto had his patented smile on, and he grabbed his bag while keeping an arm around Akaashi. The latter of the two was red in the face from an assortment of emotions.
"That sounds good..." Akaashi walked in pace with Bokuto over to Anai and Kei.
"You're right, he's even hotter up close!" Anai exclaimed, not seeing the pair walk up to them.
"Anai can it!" Kei half yelled when they saw the pair walk over in tandem.
"What were you two talking about?" Akaashi asked in fake annoyance. He wasn't actually mad, he had no reason to be.
"Definitely not how hot Bokuto-senpai is!" Anai lied, very poorly at that. Kei facepalmed, Bokuto started laughing, and Akaashi was shaking his head.
"For sure." Akaashi said in the most serious voice he could muster.
They all broke out in laughter at that.

The group had a very interesting lunch, Bokuto and Anai we're the main talkers. Kei said almost nothing at all. And Akaashi spent most of it observing.
He was happy that Bokuto had accepted him, but he was even more happy that Bokuto himself was not straight. This would eliminate any thought of hitting on. Or at least that's what Akaashi hoped.
"And then, the funniest thing happened, while the little shit was laughing at me, he fell off too!" Bokuto was telling Akaashi's new friends of the events of this morning.
"Bokuto, don't tell them that!" Akaashi snapped back into the conversation, he was blushing again. He's been doing it more and more often.
"Shh, let it happen 'Kaashi." Bokuto placed his pointer finger over Akaashi's lips. "Yep he fell right into my lap, he was blushing like crazy!" Bokuto was smirking. Anai was giggling, and Kei was looking at Akaashi to see his reaction.
Akaashi pulled Bokuto's hand down, and stuck his own hand over Bokutos's whole mouth. "Ok that's enough talking for you." Akaashi was very red in the face, and the top of his ears were started to flush as well.
