"What if Earth just like- Got tired of spinning?"

"(Y/n), what..?-"

You were back, in Albedo's office, asking your unusual questions that he hated so much.

"Like I'm just saying, how quickly would we all die?" You spoke, looking at him through an empty beaker.

"I'm unsure," he says as he glances at you, before returning to his work.

You frowned slightly. He usually at least discussed your unruly questions a little, but this time, he didn't say much at all. This had been a pattern lately, now it was just a common occurrence. Gentle bubbling and flipping of pages, mixed with the falling snow just at the exit of the cave put your mind at ease.

'It's weird how people like Captian Kaeya and Master Jean get nice offices, but Albedo gets a fucking mountain," you think smiling to yourself.

"What are you smiling at?"

"Oh, so now you're paying attention?"

His soft laugh made you peek up a bit more. Smiling, you make your way over to him.

"Whatcha working on?"

"Nothing at the moment, really. Just taking some notes to what I was working on last time you were in here."

"Ahh, I see," you say and you leaned a bit closer to the blonde haired alchemist. "Did it end off well, by the way?"

Closing his book, he turns his attention to you, his eyes meeting yours. "It went a bit better than expected. I received results beyond my expectation."

"Well, I'm glad to know it went well!" You grin once more as you noticed that Albedo was scanning your body up and down, as if he were becoming incredibly distracted with thoughts of his own.

"Aye, Albedo? You alright?"

He hums. What was up with him today, seriously? First he was ignoring you, now it seems like you're all he wants to focus his attention on?

"Yes, I'm perfectly fine.. (Y/n)."

"What's up?"

He inches closer, causing you to press your hands onto the table behind you in order to not move it, or knock anything atop it over.

"May I touch you?"

Your brain froze, processing the question that just came out his mouth.

"I- You- That- I'm- Well- Eh- Um- huH?-"

"Not in any suggestive way, if that's where your mind is drifting.."

"PfF, nO!- Well, maybe a bit but..That's besides the point-"His laugh fills your ears, as your cheeks heat slowly.

"I-I mean," you pause in the middle. "I'm alright with that.." He smiles, one of the most gentle smiles you've ever seen.

"Thank you." His hands trail to yours, while your eyes lock together. Taking your hands within his, he begins to bring them up to his lips. Never breaking eye contact, until he presses his lips on the back of both your hands. Your heart was beating faster than you ever knew it could, and Albedo had recognized it as well. Settling your hands back down to your sides, he then begins to move his hands to the back of your head. Thoughts racing, making eye contact with him once more, you feel your cheeks heat up further.

"Albedo.." You speak gently as soon as you feel his breath against your lips.

"Yes..?" Silence fills the room, as your eyes dart from each part of the room, and then back to him.

"Kiss me.." As soon as those words are uttered, the space in between you two is taken with the sudden motion of your lips colliding. Unsurprisingly, this man was an amazing kisser. His hands trail back to yours, and taking them in his own, he squeezes them ever so gently. Parting, you and him share a soft smile.

"What was that for..?" You smile wider when he chuckles softly, kissing your cheek.

"Before, I wasn't intentionally ignoring you.. I was merely pre-occupied with the thought of kissing you. Another experiment I had hoped to run, you could call it..

">:0! Is that all I am to you?" You say, pretending to be wounded in a playful manner.

He smiles, intertwining your fingers. "Absolutely not, my dear. You really couldn't even imagine how much you mean to me. How much you've always meant to me.."
