Chapter 13

*Brietta's P.O.V.*

Its Saturday. Mine and Charlie's one year anniversary. I was so nervous. He was picking me up at 6:00 to go out to eat at some nice restaurant I'd never heard of. It was called 'Texas De Brazil'.

Its 4:30 now and I was trying to find the best dress to wear. My mom was sitting on my bed helping me find a dress. "Hey hun, what about that blue dress on the very end?" It was a navy blue dress that formed to my body perfectly then loosened up just before the knees. It has navy blue glitter all over it and when the light hit it just right it looked like the night sky minus the moon.

"Oh my God mom your brilliant!" I said hugging her enthusiastically.

"Alright girly lets get that hair and makeup done then we'll slip you into that dress."

Then I realized I didn't have any shoes to go with this prefect dress. "Oh crap mom I don't have any shoes to go with it!"

"Don't worry hun me and you are the same size so you can just borrow my shoes. I do have a pair that are navy blue with navy blue glitter on them after all."

"Yay! You saved my life again!"

"Yes, yes. Now lets go do your hair and makeup before we run out of time goof ball!" My mom rushed me into the bathroom and started doing my hair.

It took an hour but she finally finished my hair. She had put my hair up into the prefect messy bun. But before she could start on my makeup I told I would do it. I took the makeup bag and grabbed only the eyeliner and mascara. I quickly applied them then rushed into my room so I could start squeezing into my dress.

"Alright girly your gonna have to suck your butt in."

"How the heck am I supposed to do that mom? And how do you know I'm going to need to, I haven't even put it on yet."

"Cause I'm your mom and I have no idea but if you wanna wear this dress you gotta find away." I stepped into the dress and me and my mom started inching the dress further up my body. And it turns out she was right, the only hard part was getting it over my buns.

Who knew I had a butt? I thought, then dismissed the thought and laughed at myself.

We eventually got the dress on and just in time to. Charlie knocked on the door and my mom rushed to go get it.

"Come on in sweet heart, she'll be right down." I heard my mom say.

I could hear the smile on Charlie's face, "alright, thank you, is it alright if I wait by the stairs?"

"Yeah, I don't see why not."

"Ok, thank you."

I then walked out of my room and practically ran down the little bit of hallway that led to the stairs. I was so nervous that I grabbed the railing and held on tight, and walked slowly down the stairs, so I wouldn't fall.

"Wow!" Charlie said. His eyes were as big as grapefruits and he was adorable. I got to the bottom of the stairs and Charlie was standing there like a bump on a log.

"Hello? Earth to Charlie? Come in Charlie? Is anyone in there?" I said knocking on Charlie's head.

"Oh sorry, your just so beautiful." I immediately started blushing and looked down.

Charlie put his finger under my chin and made me look at him. "There's no reason to hide your blushing, its adorable." He said then leaned down and kissed me, it almost turned into a full out make out session but my mom quickly interrupted.

"Hurry guys our your gonna be late!" She said practically shoving us out the door.

"Bye mom lo-" I began to say but she slammed the door shut before I could finish.

Charlie's mom drove us. we got there and it was beautiful. It has beautiful yellow, orange, and red roses out front. And when we walked in it was even more beautiful. They seated us immediately. I had the best time ever.

We spent an hour there and when it was just about time to leave Charlie got down one knee and pulled out a small box.

"Now I'm not asking you to marry me, but I am asking you to trust me forever, and never lose that trust, so I'm giving you a promise ring." Charlie then flipped the box open and there was a beautiful ring. It had a silver band, one big black diamond in the center and two on the sides and in between those were two very small regular diamonds one over the other.

"Oh my God Charlie! It's beautiful!" I said then jumped on Charlie and hugged him as tight as I could. Charlie's mom showed up shortly afterward.

When I got home I showed my mom the ring and we went completely girly for a bit then she helped me out of my dress. I took off my makeup then went to bed thinking:

This was the absolute best day of my life... so far.
