I meet up with Vanessa on the way to Gym. I hate that I have Gym then History. Gym lasts about an hour and a half, history is about 2 hours.
My mind travels to how pretty Vanessa is today. Her flannel is blue and compliments her green eyes. And don't even get me started on her ass.
I wonder if she's thinking of me. As I enter Gym, Cole stands at the door waiting for me to head out to the field with him. Vanessa is just always on my mind so it takes me longer to get ready to go outside.
It's field hockey this time of year. Then next month we do soccer and so on. Football is at the end of fall, which I love.
I wonder what season Vanessa likes.
God I seem obsessed. But she is just way too pretty.
She doesn't seem interested in me though. We've been friends, at least I hope, for only a weekend. Cole and I head out once I get on our required shirt and shorts.
The girls get black shorts and a navy blue and orange tie dye shirt with our school name on it.
The boys get to wear navy blue shorts with a navy blue shirt with our school name in orange. I don't know why we have different clothing schemes. It's stupid to me, but why judge.
I get out there and do pretty good at field hockey. I just wish Vanessa was out here so I could impress her. Maybe I'll get to pass her in the hall.
Cole and I pass the puck around the other team and instantly score without the help of any of the sucky teammates. None of them are bad they just don't get the concept.
David and I get put on the other team to help them since Cole and I were pummeling the other team. David's a player, and not in the sports aspect. He's only been here 4 years and dated 8 girls, maybe 9. In the hallway him and Vanessa were talking and I really hope it's only a friendly chat.
Homecoming is coming up and I really want to ask her. If he asks her first I swear I'm going to blow a gasket. At least I can get her to come to my games. Football is my favorite past time, other than hanging with my boys.

End of school, finally. I meet up with Vanessa at her locker and there's David. She's smiling like a loonatic and its ticking my patients.
"Can I call you smiles?" He says leaning on the locker next to hers. I lean on the other one and as she shuts it I speak up.
"Hey Vanessa. Hey David." She grabs her chest as she swings her backpack onto her shoulder.
"Jeez. Trying to give me a heart attack?" She asks playfully. Her arms wrap around mine and a grin plasters onto my face.
I hug her back and all 3 of us head outside. David less happy than he was before she hugged me.
I'll ask her to the dance later.
