CH. 7

Jungkook’s POV
After stopping by at Y/n’s to let her furry little friend, I drove to Jin’s restaurant leaving Sannie to do all the chattering in the car. I can’t believe I cried and said all that to her! What a loser! This reminds me that I need to have a talk with Jimin about some of the terms he likes to use regarding Sannie and me. Can’t believe she thought we were together. Maybe that’s why she looked away during our moment the other night?

And why am I thinking about that? It doesn’t matter... right?

I parked in front of the place and helped San out of the car who was excited to be at ‘Uncle Jin's restaurant’ after so long. It’s been a while since the last time we came, I feel bad since Jin never let me pay, he already does a lot for us. And good thing I applied concealer on my bruise lip so he wouldn’t annoy me and tell the boys I got in a fight. Again.

“Good afternoon!” the receptionist greeted us with a smile “Table for how many?”

“Three, please”

“You can follow me”

I spotted Jin heading to his office in the back and looked at Y/n.

“You two can go, I have to talk to someone” she nodded and offered her hand to San who took it all happily. 

I headed to the office and saw Jin standing, checking something in a book.

“Hey” he looked at me and smiled.

“Hey! Look who finally decided to show up!” he looked down at me and his smile faded “What? You’re alone?
Where’s my nephew?” I rolled my eyes.

“He’s at a table with Y/n” and his smile was back but this time with a touch of mischief.

“Is my Jungkookie finally dating again?”
 
“What? No! I took San to play and we just happened to meet in the park”

“And that’s cupid doing his job” he played with his eyebrows and I sighed.

“Anyway, I just wanted to let you know that we’re here”

“I’ll be right there to serve you guys”

“There’s no need, you pay people for that, remember?”

“Oh please,” he scoffed “Do you really think I’ll miss the chance to meet Y/n? And to embarrass you?”

“Oh my God” I turned my back, heading to my table.

And by some miracle, the minute I sat down at the table, Jin appeared with the menus and an annoying, smug smile. My God does he float instead of walking? San was sitting next to Y/n and he didn't fail to notice this detail. 

“Hello, my name is Seokjin and I’ll be taking care of you today” he handed us the menus and crayons with some coloring pictures for Sannie who smiled.

“Uncle Jin!”

“Hey, cutie!” they exchanged a hive five “Apparently you’ll have to be the polite Jeon and introduce me to your friend”

“This is Y/n! She smells like staberry and has a puppy!” he said excitedly.

“Nice to meet you, Seokjin” Y/n smiled and I hid my face behind the menu, waiting for what would come.

“My pleasure! And please, call me Jin. I must say, you’re the first person who Jungkook brings to my beloved establishment”

“Oh, really?” 

“Yeah, he doesn’t really help my business” Jin complained with a fake sadness tone.

“Well, I’ll definitely bring my friends here”
