after telling the boys the details to his childhood such as the lonely night he spent at a young age, the repetitive days of being neglected, having to wear dirty clothes every day, minimum water and electricity...the death of his own parents, jisung couldn't help but release a few tears.

he couldn't help but cry thinking back on the few good memories he had of his  parents. he wished in some ways he'd never loved them, maybe then it wouldn't be so painful. the constant mourning that fulfilled majority of the time since the passing of them.

of course he was great full for the bangs providing him with a proper home for the last three years of his education, but sometimes he couldn't help but miss the broken home he'd come from.

nearly everyone was speechless, they'd all come from a broken home but nothing like what jisung had been through, yeah some had abusive relationships with their parents or none at all, but to be brutally murdered leaving you severely neglected child alone was on another level of tragic. as for felix, he was the first to speak up, feeling undeniable pity for they boy "jisung...i'm so sorry that happened to you" he said in hopes of comfort.

"it's alright, i just want you to understand why it takes so much mental effort to do my job. it's hard knowing someone just like me killed my parents..." he replied, wiping his tears.

"the people who did that to your parents are nothing like you, sung. their horrible people, you mean no harm. there's a very contrasting difference." said jeongin.

"i know..." jisung mumbled. he was more than grateful to see everyone be much more silent, he only hoped it meant they would have more respect for him from now on. although he will have to admit, everyone's eyes on him was quite uncomfortable and he was still tired. so leaning over to minhos ear he whispered that he was going to head to bed to get the extra sleep he needed.

he stood up to leave the room, slightly confusing the rest of the boys but they all shrugged it off since he was probably just wanting some sleep, they couldn't imagine how stressful that probably was.

"i'm going to go upstairs with him" felix said, standing up to walk away but minho held his wrist.

"he wants to be alone." he said bluntly, but felix didn't care.

"then he can tell me that himself, you don't always have to speak for him, you know? it's weird." and then he walked away.

if only felix could understand that minho spoke for jisung because they were together, not simply because he wanted to. jisung had specified that he was leaving to be alone, but of course someone had to not listen. it especially frustrated minho that it was felix who was trying to be alone with jisung. he didn't like the idea of that after the questionable things he'd said the other day when unpacking at the old-new house.

maybe he was overthinking it, or maybe he wasn't, and that's what he feared the most.

the intrusive thought that him and jisung only worked out because they were each others only option came to mind, it worried him that there could possibly be another choice in the picture to take his jisung away. but jisung was too far in love with minho to find anybody new, so much so he doubted he could even think of somebody else. the elder was honestly just being worried for nothing, but that is valid, he has every right to be protective of his own boyfriend.

felix opened the door to the guest room to see jisung already in bed with the lights off, he contemplated if it was better for him to leave or not, yet he stayed. "hey sung, i just wanted to check on you personally..."

jisung looked up, a lighthearted smile on his face. "thank you felix, but i kinda want to be alone right now."

"if i were minho you would've let him stay." he mumbled, turning around.
