Telling his parents?

You and Kyle were laying on his bed playing Xbox. As you were playing the game, Kyle began to tell you something. "So. My parents are gonna be home tonight. And don't get mad at me but...I haven't really told them we're dating just yet..." You paused the game and looked at him. "I didn't tell mine either...should we tonight?" He looked back up at you with an uncertain look. "Um...I think we should. My parents can be a bit harsh though...that's why I'm scared to." He looked back down at the controller he was holding in his hands. "Don't worry Kyle...I'll be right by your side while we tell them. Being nervous will only make things worse." He took your hands in his and proceeded to speak. "It's a good thing you calm my nerves then." He said as he rubbed your hand with his thumb. You leaned in and kissed him, just to reassure him that everything would be fine. You felt him smile against your lips. You then cuddled and watched some tv before the big night.

You felt Kyle Shake with fear as he held your hand. To be honest, you were scared too. And you let him know that just so he'd know he's not alone. "Kyle...I'm scared too. You're not alone." You reassured him. He nodded and smiled, as he opened his bedroom door, walking down stairs still holding your hand as he saw his parents in the kitchen.

"Hey honey! Oh and hi y/n! Didn't know you came over today haha." His mom smiled at you, obviously not noticing how you and Kyle were holding hands. "Mom there's something we have to tell you and dad." You could hear the tremble in his voice. He squeezed your hand a little tighter, and you squeezed back. "What's up?" His dad asked, concerned and then looking down at our hands. He didn't really think anything of it and continued to look concerned and confused. "So...Kyle and I have gotten really close lately...and uhhh..." You didn't really know what else to say, luckily Kyle jumped right in as he saw you were having trouble. "Here's the deal. I really really like y/n...ever since I met her I knew I liked her. She's amazing and beautiful and by far the most awesome girl I've ever met. And well...what I'm trying to get at is...y/n and I are dating. And we have been for a couple days now..." Kyle closed his eyes but quickly opened them back up again to see what his parents were going to say. You were very proud of him for saying what he did. And smiled at the compliments he gave. "Oh...why were you so scared to tell us this? That's so sweet!" His mom exclaimed. "We're happy for you two." His dad said as well. You felt Kyle's nerves begin to calm and a smile was put upon is face. As well as his parents. "Thank you guys so much." You said and hugged Kyle. You heard his parents go "awwww" as they saw you two hug. "Shut up." Kyle said as you and him ran back up to his room, you heard his parents laugh. "Leave the door open you two!" His mother yelled from downstairs. You two looked at each other and bursted out laughing.
