Chapter 15

Nichole's pov
I drive on into the night until I saw a sign that says Nebraska. It made me think of Jack. No nichole don't think about him he's gone in the past he didn't trust you he didn't listen none of them did coming was a bad idea in the first place vine was a bad idea. Everything will be normal again soon and it'll be fine. I finally pulled into a vacant parking lot and we tried to sleep none of us could though. Finally I guess we fell asleep bc I woke up to grace shaking me I looked at her. Her eyes were red and puffy "hey cal and EM are still asleep but I thought we could get a head start its ok I can drive" grace says "no I got it" I say and start the car we start driving soon grace falls asleep it's really boring and quiet so I turn on the radio quietly. I scan through the channels until I hear one of Shawn's song the weight I wanted to turn it off but I just couldn't I put my hand back on the stirring wheel and listened I realized I was crying soon the song went off and I clicked it off fast because I saw emilee raise up and look out the window after a while she says "where are we " "Home" I say seeing the Kentucky state sign. Soon grace wakes up "um can we stop and get something" emilee asks "sure what?" I ask "taco bell" she says "can I get McDonald's" grace asks callie wakes up "I'll take Taco Bell " cal says "ok" I say pulling up to Taco Bell we order and go to McDonald's and order I pull back on the highway and drive "why didn't you get anything" grace whispers to me so the others won't hear I shook my head "not hungry " I say I drive on until we reach our home town. "We're here" I say and we pull up to Emilee's house and she gets out "bye um I'll text u " she says and shuts the door we pull out and then drop callie off she tells us bye then I head to gracelyns house "hey are you okay" she asks me "no this whole thing went wrong I knew it was a bad idea" I say " just forget about everything it'll get better I promise" she says "ok" I say she gets out "I'll catch U later" she says and shuts the door I drive home and go inside my parents are out so I go to my bed and check my phone 233 messages from Jack 108 from Matt 45 from nash 27 from taylor and so on I go on social media everyone is asking what happened I have 23 dms from the guys asking where we are or are we ok or to come back I click my phone off and go to sleep it'll all be better soon I tell myself going to sleep.
