Jack pov
I wake up look around I'm in Nichole's ICU room I look at her. Why didn't she tell us she had a good chance of getting brain cancer. I mean why her why does such a good girl have something bad happen to them why? I sat there looking at her wondering if she'd wake up from this and if doctors knew anything then Hayes came in "hey man she's gonna be okay" he says sitting down "that's what everyone says" I say he nods

Emilee's pov
I woke up I was in the hospital room I look over and see cam he's crying "cam?" I ask he looks up surprised and then he yells for a nurse they come in and ask me questions and stuff. Then everyone else comes in. We talk and then when I mention nichole everything gets quiet "guys? What's going on? Where's nichole?" I ask no reply "guys?" I ask Jack walks in everyone else walks out he sits down and runs his hands through his hair "Jack where's nichole" I ask him he looks up with tears in his eyes "she's dying" he says "what from the gunshot?" I ask "no" he says "from cancer" he says that makes my heart break and I feel like this wait is being piled on me "what" I crack out "she has Bain cancer she's in a coma doctors don't think she'll come out of it and they say that those were the last days we'd ever speak to nichole again she's dying and they give her maybe a month before the cancer eats the rest of her up" he says crying "how bad is" I start "the cancer? Huh from what they told me its everywhere they did a cat scan and she lit up like a Christmas tree" (TFIOS REFERENCE) he says I cry and look the other way he gets up and leaves "she can't leave me " I say whispering
