A few days passed and Corey and I hadn't talked much since I accidentally sent him that snap.
( at this point my phone glitched and deleted the rest of the chapter sadly so I'm not going to be as detailed as It was bc I'm sad now ):
I ended up singing "Happier than ever" by Billie Eilish. Probably 50 people or more gathered around and started recording me. I started shaking really bad but thankfully it was near the end of the song. In the end I ended up making $37 and someone's phone number lol. Not bad. I walked to the gas station and grabbed me some snacks and a code red Mountain Dew. When I went to check out, a teenage boy that was the cashier gave me a shocked look.
Cashier: Oh it's you Yn!
Yn: What how do you know my name?
Cashier: look!
He showed me his phone and it was a video of me singing. 700k views!
Yn: *gasps* Wow that's insane!
Cashier: oh wait let me refresh- HOLY SHIT!
Yn: What?!
I grabbed his phone and saw how many views there were..
Yn: four.. million..
I was so shocked I could hardly breathe
Cashier: could I get a picture with you in case you become famous?!
Yn: Oh- I guess so. I honestly don't see myself getting famous, I'm not even that good of a singer.
I chuckled
Cashier: What are you crazy? You're awesome! and hot! Sorry my bad
Yn: Just check out my things
Cashier: Oh right sorry
I rolled my eyes and laughed
I told many people about what happened. Corey ended up calling me and freaking out over it. He offered me a job to work with him! He was looking for a female singer. It was a lot to take in at once but I accepted the offer. He invited me over for supper tomorrow and to sing in front of him, in which I was generally terrified of! Oh well I guess. He thought I sounded great in the video.
