chapter 9

I woke up and forgot for a second where I was, so I sat up quickly. I looked to my side to see if Corey was there, he wasn't. I rubbed my head because I had a headache. I checked my phone and it was 12:30. The door of Corey's room opened soundly. It was Corey checking in on me.
Corey: Oh hey you're up *smiles*
Yn: Hey
I said tiredly
Corey: did you sleep good?
Yn: I did very much, thank you.
Corey: Of course. Just wanted to make sure that you were somewhere safe.
I grinned
Yn: Wait. Did you sleep with me?.
Corey: *blushes* No I slept on the couch actually.
Yn: Oh yeah, my bad. I remember now, sorry.
Corey: That's okay. I could barely remember going to sleep on the couch
Yn: yeah *laughs* I forgot I slept here.. and I uh, want to apologize if I said anything wrong last night. Sometimes words pop out *chuckles*
Corey: yeah *laughs* I'm with you on that one.. also, I think we kissed again.
Yn: We did?
I sounded very confused because I can't remember
Corey: Yeah, you actually came onto me *snickers*
Yn: I did! Oh my gosh *grabs hair* I am so sorry Corey!
Corey: Nah *psh* it's cool.. I didn't mind it. I kissed back.
Yn: *blushes* Well apparently me neither
We both laugh
Corey: Also. I may have said something too that may have made you feel awkward but I don't know..
Yn: Wait, what was that?
Corey: Something about me wanting to.. damn it now I can't say it or I'll feel bad!
Yn: No it's okay tell me!
Corey: *sighs* I said that.
I stared at him listening
Corey: that I wanted to engage with you in something that you weren't ready to do yet.. and I'm sorry for bringing it up..
I had a flashback
Yn: Oh.. I remember now.. it's okay, we both were drunk. and apparently turned on
Corey half laughed then I did too
Corey: Listen I don't want to do anything of that matter with you. so like I said, I'm sorry
Yn: It's okay Corey, I'm not upset. I don't see me doing that with you either yet..
Corey furrowed his eyebrows into a questionable look. his hands in his hoodie pocket.
Yn: *rubs head* I didn't mean to say yet. I don't know why I fucking said that.
It was silent for a few moments.
Corey: Do you like me?
I was kinda shocked that he asked me that so bluntly.
Yn: What.?
I looked up at him
Yn: No of course not
His eye brows went flat then raised slightly. His mouth at an unbelieved smirk.
Yn: I don't
The more he kept staring at me the more I felt like I was going to crack.
Yn: Stop looking at me like that!
Corey smiled slightly showing his teeth.
Corey: *looks down then up* You sure?
Yn: *covers face* What if I did..
Corey: I mean. nothing would change between us.
Yn: Like not at all?
Corey: *shakes head* Nope
Yn: Well.. If you really "want me to be honest"
Corey snickers with his lip in a bite
Yn: I do..
Corey's face settled and looked half satisfied half surprised.
Corey: How much
Yn: Well.. I mean I think you're cute.. and you're funny..
Corey: *cute grin* thank you for being honest
Yn: Yeah sure. Thank you for not freaking out on me.
Corey: Well why would I do that?
Yn: Oh. I don't know.
Corey: *chuckles* You're cute.
He turned away then walked back closer to me.
Corey: don't worry, I won't tell anyone.
Yn: Good. I don't want them taking it the wrong way.
Corey: *sighs* Yeah. Sometimes people think the worst. I know that you're a good person Yn. So like I said, you can like me. That's fine. *grins*
Yn: Yay *giggles*
Corey looks at the ground with a sweet chuckle.
Yn: So *grabs pillow* what are the plans for today *hits his side with the pillow*
Corey: Actually I'm not sure. I would say relax since it's Sunday.
Yn: True. I need to go "home" anyways.
Corey: Hey, if you ever need a place to stay, just let me know okay?
Yn: I will. Thanks Corey *half smile*
Corey: Always.
