It's so dark. I could barely see anything; the light was fading. Brandt extended his arms towards the light above him, but he continued to sink deeper into the water.Slowly and gradually, everything became dark. The sounds were nothing but the flowing water, as he slowly lost consciousness while the water carried him across. "Zach..."

The waves were raging as the clouds above swirled in darkness as the rain poured down below. "Captain, something is down there!" "Shout!" said one of the crew from the ship. A large, built, bearded man came and grabbed the spyglass to look and see a person lying down unconscious against a rock.

"Drop down the anchor!" the captain shouted as his men dropped down the anchor. He then ordered his men to sail towards the lone rock and to rescue the unconscious boy lying on it.

"What happened to this lad?" He said this as he closely examined the young boy who had suffered a lot of bruises. "What exactly happened here?" The captain once again looked at the large swirling clouds in the sky as the thunder raged as it continued to rain.

The sound of the bells rang across the halls as a number of people gathered in a circular chamber, wherein a table was present and people were seated around it. In the uppermost part is a tall throne made of marble. A light from one of the windows above illuminates it as it shines down only on it. The room was filled with silence as the bell continued to toll. Birds flew past the arches as they exited through the open window. The man sitting on the marble throne grabbed a chalice filled with wine and took a sip as he exchanged glances with the people present in the court room.

"I have gathered each and everyone of you here to discuss the matters concerning what happened that night," he said as he placed the chalice down into the table.

"That burst of energy that has pierced the sky has awakened Babel. This matter doesn't concern just the free cities but the liocrenus as well."

"The fangs of Liocrenus will be dispatched to oversee the disaster that has ravaged the Free City, find the source of the energy and apprehend those that are involved. This power must be contained. We cannot let this trigger what is to come, "the man said, as he once again took a drink from his chalice.

He then stood up and dismissed the meeting, and everyone present in the courtroom stood up and lowered their heads before walking out of the room. The large, tall door opened and the doves started to fly past it. The windows on the right side illuminated the red carpet as well as the maidens waiting on the side with their knees down as the people from the courtroom walked by.

As they continued at the end of the hall, they arrived at another large door, which was opened by fellow knights. As the door slowly opened, the light pierced through, spreading throughout the room until it was fully open. For a moment, the light was blinding, but after a while, it was changed with a spectacular view of Liocrenus. One of the people walked ahead as the view of the kingdom stretched before her. As towering buildings loomed in the distance, airships flew past the blue skies and past the mountains.
