Amber's POV

Yes, I'd spotted the young man across the square, gazing at me as if he'd been lovestruck. Then again, I was staring the same way at him too. He was smiling at me, trying so hard to push his way through the crowd to see me closer. I would've done the same if I wasn't attached to my father. I couldn't look away without having to look back at him. I wanted to let go of his arm and run up to him, just to be able to know his name. He looked a little older than me, maybe a few years? His eyes seemed to gleam when I looked over at him, his smile making me blush, unable to hide how I was feeling and what he was doing to my emotions. My father and I stopped as he spoke to someone, giving me more time to be able to look at the stranger across the street. Unfortunately, it wasn't long before we were on our way again. I wished I could've asked to stop and wait, but I knew it would be no good trying. As we walked away, I looked back over at him, mouthing 'I'm sorry' to him, hoping he'd understand what I'd 'spoken'. I watched his face fall, saddened that he couldn't reach me in time. I looked down at my feet, feeling my eyes slowly fill with tears. We hadn't met, yet I already missed him...

Marius' POV

I couldn't believe it... I was so close to her, but she just slipped from my grip. I did feel a little crushed, but my heart was still pounding. I felt all warm inside, like I'd never felt before. I couldn't wipe the stupid grin off my face. I knew from just that one look that she was the one for me. It was definitely love at first sight, hopefully for the both of us!

Still feeling lovestruck, I wandered down the street, bumping into my friend, Enjorlas.

"Hey mate!" Enjorlas said, "You ready for this revolution?!"

"Uhh, oh, yeah sure I am" I replied, not focusing straight.

Enjorlas seemed to notice I wasn't 100% there.

"You alright, Marius? You don't seem yourself."

"I-I've just got other things on my mid as well as this revolution..." I sighed happily.

"What? Tell me Marius!" Enjorlas persisted.

"Well I've seen this girl-"

"A girl?!" Enjorlas exclaimed, "Marius, mate, you're in LOVE?!"

I looked at him, nodding. I really, really was.
